(John Collins)
Today, I am having a headache. Screw this hectic schedule of my work. This job is making me crazy. I should have turned down this job in the first place and just run the family business.
Now, I am regret my stupid decision. Good thing my manager told me to take a rest. He must have notice that I am going to passed out anytime now if I don't get a rest.
My driver drove the car. I leaned my head on the window glass. Damn, I just remembered that I don't have any present yet. Steph is going to have a grand birthday celebration since she was turning eighteen. Great. Just great. I told the driver to turned the wheels around and headed to the nearest mall.
Steph isn't picky with things so I chose to give her a heart necklace. Unfortnately, that dragon tried to grabbed the necklace.
"Hey, that was mine!" she shouted.
Just seeing her here worsen my headache. I don't have a time to argue with her. Luckily, she didn't make a big scene. This girl hated me as much as I hated her.
We both hate each other. I headed on the counter and left.
I was lying on my bed but still I can see her mad face looking at me.
Isn't this headache giving me a hard time? Or was it even the headache or that dragon-girl.
I often call Kayla as dragon to piss her off. Her patience isn't that long enough to act like a dragon breathing fire.
I still remember that day when Steph introduces me to her. The way Steph describe her is the total opposite of what I have seen. Steph said that her bestfriend was almost like a mother to her.
Kayla was so bossy to Steph while she obey every command she says. But I thought that was okay.
Kayla saw me and shoo me away. I was a famous artist. Who the heck is she to shoo me away? And she starts talking and I talked back at her.
The next thing I found out is that she was one of those John Haters Club. The heck. Steph didn't mention me that.
I don't understand that dragon girl in any way around because... First, I don't know her. Second, she hated me before we even met each other. And three, she thinks that I was stealing her bestfriend. Which is not her property.
She even kicked me hard just to shoo me away. Of course, I didn't fight back. She is a girl, I think because Steph says.
That reminded me something, she had a trust issues. I looked up at the ceiling. I bet dragon was cursing me right now. My phone began to ring. A new message from her.
From: Dragon Kayla
I'll kill you next time we meet. You better hide, John Michael JERK Collins.
Yup, she is cursing me right now. I'm postive. So, I texted her back.
To: Dragon Kayla
You can't kill me I'm unbeatable.
See you around, Tiffany Kayla DRAGON Rushton.
I closed my eyes and fall asleep.

"You have gotta be kidding me!" Kayla exclaimed. She was shocked to see me with Steph. Hey, the feelings are mutual. I was also shocked to see her. "Why is that jerk here?"
"Hey, be careful with your words. Steph invited me," I answered. For sure, Kayla wouldn't even let her answer her question.
"Oh, did I say something wrong, jerk?" She raised her left eyebrow while crossing her arm.
"Being a brat as always, huh?" I talked back. She shot a death glare at me. She knows how to talk and I know how to strike back.
"And being you annoying as always." She rolled her eyes. She even looked mean when she do that. She went to a restaurant leaving us behind.
Steph was the one who set us up. She said she wanted to hang out with me not knowing that girl is with us.
"If I told you, would you come?" she asked. After she, left I argued with Steph.
I shook my head.
"See?" she said. She had a point not telling us. But I don't want to spend time with that rich brat dragon girl. "Please understand her for me. You are my bestfriend but she also was. Please?" She had those puppy eyes that makes people hard to say no.
"Do I have a choice?" I asked. And she jump a little saying Yes! in her mind. I can't turned down a request from my bestfriend. This is going to be a hard day.
We are inside the restaurant. There is not even a single customer except for us. This restaurant is not making any profit.
Steph raised her hand and the waiter come towards us. The first two of us already ordered. Kayla is still haven't figure out what choice she is to make.
"How about you, miss?" the waiter asked. He looks fair and normally girls would drool over him He was smiling at her. She doesn't notice because of busy picking her order holding the menu.
I'm a guy so I know when a guy is into a girl. He have no idea what kind of girl she is into.
"Hmm...Chicken teriyaki. Single rice and Mango shake," she said while looking at the menu. The she gave him back the menu. He playfully hold her hand and winked at her.
She suddenly get annoyed. "And get lost!" she deeply strikes that man's heart.
Steph and I were still in process of Whoa! reaction. We totally didn't see that coming. The waiter walked away down after hearing those two harsh words.
She was playing on her phone like nothing happened.
"You could've reject him in other way that that," Steph said. More like she was the one feeling guilt of rejection. Kayla turn with a cold stare.
"What do you want me to say? Hey, don't get offended. You are not my type. Like that?" she changes her voice. "Or maybe you want me to lie to him just like what you did."
That froze her. Both parties kept silent. Don't tell me they will start fighting. I was drowned by my own thoughts when another waiter came and serve the food. Good timing, the tension between the girls are rising up and maybe food is the solution.
No one dared to speak not until we're done eating. Kayla raised her hand. A waiter came.
"Here's the bill, miss," said the waiter handing the bill to her. I immediately grabbed it. She kicked my foot.
Oh! She just love doing that. She probably saw my painful reaction and smirked.
"I'll be the one to pay," I said.
"No need, Collins. I don't want to owe you," she was raising eyebrow again. She had those mean looking face even Steph, her bestfriend is scared of.
"I am guy so I should be the one to pay for it," I said handing to the waiter the money. "And keep the change."
I looked at her direction and she wasn't taking her eyes off me. Seriously, are we really going to argue this?
"You're a guy and that means that I even hate you for that," she strike back. I narrowed my eyes hearing her words.
"What is wrong with you?"
"You know the answer, John Michael Collins," she stood up and making her voice high. I also stood up.
This means war.
"You know what, you are a psycho," I told her. She sarcastically laughed.
"I know," she admitted? That made me speechless. The first time she agree to my comment. "That is why I hate you."
She really is a psycho. Somebody stop me before I tried to do something.
