(Kayla Rushton)

I've already taken care of my revenge against that Mark dude. Unfortunately for him, I called Sarah and told her everything. He totally got scolded and asking for mercy on his angry girlfriend.

But that jerk is as hard as a diamond. My little brain isn't enough to magically win over him. I've heard from Steph that he was a geek.

The mountain adventure is already over. Now is the time for us to head home. Mark and Sarah already left. John called a car since he was a rich boy. He was taking Steph home.

I, on the other side, is busy taking calls. I can't missed more meeting or else the hotel would definitely suffer.

I heard the sound of a car beeping. It was John. He opened the window.

"Hop in," more like he was commanding me. I rolled my eyes and continue talking to Jessa on the phone. "Just get in, dragon," now, I'm sure he was commanding me. He even get his voice higher than the first one.

"No need, Mr. smarty pants I have work to take care of," I told him in irritated voice.

"Okay, it's up to you."

"Bye, Kayla. And don't work too much," Steph's last word before leaving me.

"Is that all?" I was talking to Jessa. "Okay, I will head at the hotel. And have me ready a fine business suit."

Days passed by, I have no connections to the outside world. I was literally at my office the whole time. No coming in and out of the hotel. Call me a workaholic woman but hey, this is my life.

"Ma'am, you have a guest. His name is John," Jessa told me over the phone. "Let him in."

I saw him opened the door but I was busy studying these paperworks on my table. I signalled him to have a seat because a call suddenly came.

"Yes? Okay. A dinner reservation. With whom? Ah, him. Tonight, okay," a secretary was talking to me at the same time still busy.

I stopped everything and headed at the mini sofa inside the office.

"Are you lost?" I asked raising an eyebrow on him.

"You really miss me, dragon. By the way, you already have a dinner reservation tonight. Bad timing, huh?" I really don't get his point.

"Just tell me the reason you're here, Collins," I asked crossing my arms.

"Steph asked me to fetch you to come over and have a dinner with us," he explain. He scroll his eyes inside the office and stop at my table. "Workaholic woman are always boring, they say."

"Are you here to fetch me or just insult me?" I meanly looked at him. I was freakin' tired these days since many clients are just too assuming of themselves and act like they own the hotel or something. "Look, Collins, I can't come over so if you just leave right away because I still have work all over the place."

I sighed.

"Okay, you should have some rest soon before you ran out of energy," he pleaded.

I just got out of the car when I saw a familiar face in front of the restaurant.

I didn't bother to greet them. I just walked in and made my way at the counter.
