(Y/N)'s point of view

I peaked out from the alleyway checking to make sure the coast was clear. This was my first prank after all and it be a bust if I got caught. Oh right, My name is (Y/N) and that's about it. I mean I do have a surname, but I decided to leave that behind with my old life but I'll get to that later.

Tip toeing over do the front door I carefully placed the pink wrapped box on the doormat before placing the heart shaped note on the box. I then braced myself and.

DING DONG~

As soon as I clicked the bell I bolted back to the alley watching as my target opened the door and looked down. I had trouble holding in my laughs as the overweight slob's eyes twinkled. The target in question was Aku Bakugai or as many kids called him the "Baka Akuma". He claimed to be a watcher of the community, but in reality he just used his position to take his anger out on the homeless. Any kid or adult who didn't have a home was accused with little to no evidence of committing crimes. This was a personal mission.

You watched in anticipation as Aku lifted the cover of the box expecting a sweet treat made by a admirer, when in reality....

💥 Boom 

The so called treat was in fact a trap. A simple geyser hidden in a cake. The results a bewildered corrupt man covered in wet dough. You couldn't hold in you're laughter! The look on his face was priceless!

You're laughing was too loud however, as the shocked look turned into one of anger upon seeing the source of the laughter. You.

"DAAMMMN BRRATT"! ,  screamed the now pissed of male as he began to storm over to your hiding spot, and just as you were about to were about to speed away from the steam boa- I mean adult. A small white ball landed in front of Aku causing him and you to look in confusion. After all I didn't thr-

Unlike the explosion before, this one expelled smoke blinding  the man. You had little time to ponder as you felt the back of your white straight jacket get lifted up before you were pulled into the dark interwebs of alleys. Only hearing running and the infuriating yells over a twice humiliated man.

When you were put back on the ground you thought about what pulled you back but you felt you're lips curl as you heard the familiar voice.

"Nehehe~,Well I can say that mission gave old Baka Akuma his just desserts"!

Turning around and looking up, you saw the familiar cape, hat, and sly smile of your supreme leader and older brother (not by blood) Kokichi Oma.

Without a second thought I jumped forward as he lifted me into his arms and pulled me close allowing me to wrap my arms around his neck.

"Did you see the surprise on his face and the oogoly eyes he made at the note!", I said excitedly recapping the events.

"Yep, nice idea writing the fake note from his beloved Rika-chan~. Had the moth pulled right in." , Kokichi said in a sing song voice.

However, his face lost it's grin.

" But (Y/N), I hate to inform you that the mission... was a failure", he said his tone dropping as well as his smile. I was shocked. Did I not create the trap right? Is it because I had to be rescued? Was I too wea-.

"Nehehehe"

"But that was a lie of course!"

Huh...

"Kokichi! I was really worried I screwed up"!, I pouted more annoyed then frustrated though. 

Now thinking about it how did a eight year old end up with a supposed supreme leader. Well to put it simply I got tired of my old life.

Back before I joined Kokichi and others in our organization D.I.C.E, I had a life not so fun. My life consisted of going to school just to be teased for something not funny and going home to listen to mommy and daddy fight after they drank the "dizzy drink". All I could hear was them yelling and occasionally the breaking of dishes. And all I could was cover my ears and hoped they stop. So I left home and travelled through the city. Or more like sat in alleyways and eat any discarded food I found. But instead of living cold and alone I got a new home and family. And it was a lot more fun living the new life!

Kokichi pulled me out of my reminiscing as he reached behind him and brought out a checkered scarf just like all the other members.

"(Y/N) you've proven yourself a great subordinate and brother. I now make you a official member of  D.I.C.E"!

You took the scarf in you're hands. It was a little big for you but you didn't care. You got a gift now from your family. It wasn't long before you felt streams of tears fall down your face and onto the scarf and sleeves of Kokichi.

"(Y/N)? You ok?"

3rd Person View

"(Y/N) when someone gives a gift, your supposed to be happy not sad", Kokichi said with a puzzled look.

"I..m...I'm not sad I'm happy", said (Y/N) grinning despite the tears falling.

"I wanted a happy family for so long , to be able to be with you and D.I.C.E. A...and be able to have fun with my... family thank you"

Kokichi soon grinned. But unlike his usual smiles this one was more warm and caring."(Y/N) of course were family! Your my little brother and together we're gonna spread as mush mischief as we can!"

"Yeah!", Said (Y/N) finally drying his eyes.

"Now let's get home. Your supreme leader needs to come up with new schemes~". 

"Uhh hawwwww", (Y/N) yawned.

As he walked Kokichi wrapped his cape around the boy having him fall asleep to the smell of Panta.

A/N: Well tell me what you think. I was struggling to write this due to my schedule, but finally I'm done.

Oh and my opinion on the ending to V3.......
