My Waterfall (Poem)

Can you see my waterfall?

Standing strong, proud, tall.

Throwing crystal water so blue,

Pouring down the falls to you.

Looking from the top so high,

It's beautiful enough to cry.

Wishing you were here with me,

If you were I'd be full of glee.

Surrounded by the grass and trees,

And all the perfect fallen leaves.

All the pebbles and skipping stones,

And all the giant boulder thrones.

All the flowers, perfect and poised,

Seem to block out all the noise.

All the water, crashing down,

Feels like music, a lovely sound.

The whole scene wrapped up and tied,

This waterfall is full of pride.

Though some hear kilgore and think of bone,

I ignore the name, and just see home.

So welcome to my wonderland!

Seeing all the sights so grand,

Maybe you can stay a while!

I think it's better than the Nile.
