It is a wonderful day in Central London. The sky is a perfect crystal blue, the lush cumulus clouds are pearl white, and the low altitude just makes the day picture perfet. The bright beaming sun is glistening with warm and the temperature is in the low 70s. It's Summertime. The 9th Doctor is in a very happy mood. Wearing his black leather jacket, a black T-Shirt, a pair of navy blue denim jeans and some sunglasses to protect his eyes from the powerful rays. The Time Lord is very, very eager to bring his longtime female companion Rose Tyler on yet another satisfying and amazing time-traveling adventure. But the truth is, he has not seen or spoken to Rose in what seemed like an eternity and as the 999-year-old Time Lord is making his way towards Roses' white brick Powell Estate, a single memory of her is bubbling to his cortex and it's a vivid memory of what she looks like and what she dresses like.

Rose Jeane Tyler is a British teen with shoulder length wavy blonde hair, olive tan skin, bright crystal blue eyes that would smile when she smiled and a bright white smile on her delicate smooth face that without a doubt could make anyone fall head over heels in love. Her long tan legs were shiny and smooth. As for Rose's fashion style, it was simple and The Doctor aways like simple. The teen would always wear a light pink cardigan with a pair of skinny faded blue jeans that complimented her curves.

It's really a bittersweet moment to be thinking of her like this

"Rose? Rose!" The Doctor calls out, leaping joyfully up the metal staircase two at a time. Reaching the 3rd floor where the family's flat is located, The Ninth Doctor runs into Rose's biological mother, Jackie Tyler. She has the same wavy blonde hair and Rose has.

"Doctor! What in Gods name are you doing here?" Jackie asks in her thick Britsh accent, just like the one her daughter has. The Time Lord recognizes this tone that she used to use, and it was always that high pitched tone that she would use whenever she isn't excepting any visitors.

"Looking for Rose," he replies, grinning from ear to ear. "Is she here?"

Ms. Tyler crosses her arms and her demeanor has changed as if he is the last person on this planet that she wants to explain this too. "No. she is not here, Doctor," Jackie tells him.

"Then where is she?" Nine is quick to respond, with a smile. What he has forgotten is the incident that almost costs both of them their lives, but he obviously doesn't care about that right now. He just wants Rose back, so they can pick up where they left off.

Rose's mom gets a little bit offended and frowns. She wants to smack this stupid smile off his face. "Where is she?" The woman says slowly, and raising her eyebrows at him. "Have you been living under a rock, Doctor?" The mother spats out in anger. But suddenly, she regrets the sudden burst and clamps her hands over her mouth.

The man's smile falls into a frown of disappointment rather quickly as he hears these harsh words still echoing in his brain and somehow, they have become even harsher to him with every passing second. The Doctor reads Jackie's full facial expression and her body language. His tune changes to all seriousness. He can feel all the blood drain from his face and his stomach is churning. "No. I have not been," he says bluntly. "Now tell me where I can find her," The Doctor commands as he's starting to heat up with anger himself. But he knows not to hurt anyone. especially someone's mother.

Jackie looks as if she's about to cry, but holds it together. She just presses her lips together, clears her throat and takes a deep breath before speaking. "Doctor, she is 24 years old now. Rose has moved on with her life and I think that you should as well," With sorrowful eyes, the woman smiles slightly at the man. Then silently, she begins to walk away with nothing more to be said.

"Wha...What?" The 9th Doctor is totally taken aback by Jackie's words and is completely shocked. All the blood has gone from his face once again. The man grabs the woman's arm lightly to stop her from walking away. "...I don't understand...Is it something I did? Please. Tell me." Nine says, desperate for answers. He can barely breathe and his heart is beating out of his chest.

Rose's mom sighs defeatedly because she knows the grown man simply doesn't understand, and she's very afraid that he never will. Jackie takes a step towards The Doctor and looks down on him slightly with disappointment and forces to herself to look in The Time Lord's pained eyes. "Um...more or less. The blonde woman shifts her weight from one leg to the other, struggling to tell him more because Ms. Tyler told him everything she could, so she really doesn't want to talk about this any further, but Jakie gives him what he needs to hear, even though this might hurt. "Look, Doctor...People and situations change all the time and it's something we all have to accept. My little girl had to evolve and grow without you...I'm sorry. I know that not what you want to hear, but it's the truth," Jackie Tyler attempts to leave once more.

On a whim, The Doctor speaks rather quickly and desperately trying to change her mind on this situation. The makes Jackie stop in her tracks. To The Doctor, this feel like the end of his fucking life, or worse yet, it feels like the end of the world. And to Jackie, it feels like she is bleeding out all over again. "But! Whatever I did I can fix-"

"No!" The woman snaps, going over her boiling point at the point in time. "You've done enough damage! It's time to let her go, Doctor. Let her be!" She says, "People have to move on sometimes in their lives. They can't just simply be stuck in the same situation forever! Can you understand that?" She whines tears are welling up in her eyes as she becomes more anger by the second.

The once happy Time Lord seems to be in a very depressed state as everything that Jackie has said rips him to pieces. This is just devastating news. He doesn't want to accept any of this, at all because this hurts too much....but he has one final question to ask her and he asks it carefully and in a softer tone of voice. "...Do you know where she is living now?" Nine asks hopefully, lifting up his head and looking at her. He's just hoping for an answer to ease the gut-wrenching pain. The Doctor feels hollow inside.

"I dunno Doctor." At this time, Jackie has calmed down, and her tone is normal, crossing her arms in front of her chest once again. "I literally haven't spoken to her in a while since she's moved out. I assume that she doesn't want to talk to me much because she doesn't want the painful memories of you to come back to her and that she's just focused on herself." Rose's mom says with a shrug. "But...Try New York City, Doctor. She always loved NYC when we used to go. Maybe she's there, I dunno. She always wanted to be her own person somewhere away from me. And now, she finally is..."

"NYC..." The Doctor takes a moment to mull that over in his brain. He has to try to go see if she's there, so he says very gratefully and pained, "Thank you so much. Goodbye, Jackie." The Time Lord turns away from her, trotting down the steps as fast as he can.

The Time Lord is clearly heartbroken and utterly disappointed that Rose just decided to go on with life without him. This doesn't make a lick of sense to him! Nor does he want to believe it or settle with this in any way shape or form. The Doctor is mainly pissed off, but he has a plethora of emotions swirling inside him like a storm right now. But most importantly, he is very determined to find Rose Then, came a tiny, tiny sliver of hope, he did not ask for this change and he certainly did not want for nature to take its course so easily like this. Walking a little swifter now, Nine blows out a breath of hot air. The man begins to sort things out things a little better. On one hand, he is in a state of determination to do anything and everything in his power to fix this so he can be happy. On the other hand, The Time Lord's heart is aching so bad from this horrifying news. With a heavy defeated sigh, he whips out the brass key from his breast pocket and unlocks the TARDIS door.

As the 999-year old Time Lord from Gallifrey steps foot in his blue telephone Time Machine, hands on his hips, he scans his eyes around and instantly knows that his life will be a black cloud of sadness for the rest of his days if he can't get Rose to come back. But yet again, the urge to be hell-bent and needing to do whatever it takes is undeniably strong. So, he will take a little trip to New York City.

As he walks to the Center Console and yanks a lever, pressing buttons and flipping other small switches, he gets a dark look in his eyes, as if black blood is coursing through his veins at this very moment, making him stronger than he ever thought possible in this very weak moment. This sudden surge of strong hate is easily turning all this hurt, delirium, heartache and devastation. Surely, this man will stop at nothing to get his female companion back.
