*Two Hours Later*

"I can't believe I am doing this," I said speaking to myself. I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. A middle aged woman answered the door. "Hello, you are?" "Hi, my name is Karlie Mason, I was wondering if Hunter is home." The woman looked at me and frowned for a second probably remembering all of the sluts that had been in her home. "Oh! No not like that I just need to talk to him...I'm not like that ma'am." "He went to pick up groceries for me, would you like to come in and wait?" "Yes thank you Mrs. Flynn." "It's Janice dear." We waited about five minutes before hearing the door open and close. "Ma, I'm home." "You have a guest." He walked in the kitchen where his mom and I were talking. "I see you took my advice about the shoes," he said looking me up and down. "No I've been walking a lot, can we talk?" " Ummm...sure," he said uncertainty showing in his face. We walked up the stairs and into his room, which I couldn't help staring at, it was nothing like I expected. "Shocked?" he asked looking at me with annoyance in his eyes. "Kinda, but it seems to suit your personality at home." He looked at me perplexed for a moment before smiling a smile that I knew was mine alone. "What did you want to talk about?" "Can we be friends?" "What?" he asked startled. "Can we be friends? Look I really need a friend and you are the only guy at school who doesn't

Ogle me or ask me out." "Sure, we can be friends," he said smiling.

*A Week Later*

We were hanging out as his place like usual. "Hey Hunter?" "Yes?" "Do you ever think about moving out, like now?" "Why?" "Because I'm looking at apartments..." "Why?" I looked down and didn't say a word. "Karlie....," he said looking concerned. I knew he was truly worried because he normally called me Mason. "I...I don't want to talk about it." "Karlie tell me." "No, I think I better go." I left before he could grab or chase me.
