I opened the door to see my cousin Cassida, she looked so much like me, we could have easily passed as siblings.
"Cassida! My cousin, daughter of Ares, come in!" I greeted, pulling her inside.
"Nova! It's great to finally meet you, I've heard so much about you! Tell me, how is life in the city of New York?"
I nodded my head towards the television where the reporter continued to talk about the major wreck I'd caused in time square, "It's chaotic thanks to me," Cassida laughed, "but please, be wary of the place, Zeus hates that I reside on earth, he's tried to kill me through humans, but always fails, but now that you're living here with me, he'll likely stop at nothing to kill us both."
She nodded, "So it's okay of I live with you? I don't want to burden you."
"Nonsense my dear cousin, of course you can live with me, I wouldn't mind in the slightest," Cassida smiled, "and tonight we will celebrate your arrival with pizza and liquor!"
My cousin giggled, "I'm more of a pasta-and-wine type of girl."
I grinned, "Both can be arranged dear cousin, as long as you're willing to drink like a fish with me until we're both passed out."
"Okay, agreed,"
I cooked pasta while Cassida ordered pizza, and I jogged down to an ABC to get us drinks.
When I walked through the door I grabbed the first bottle I laid eyes on and threw it at the cashier, who hit the floor in a pile of glass and blood and alcohol. Then I proceeded to get a bottle of liquor and a bottle of wine, but the wine was not from the ABC.
