Clarissa is in the study room, writing her journal about her mood and Kendra. There was a 32-year old man named Nigel Richards and a 23-year old woman named Nicole Orville came by to meet Clarissa.
"Hello." said Nigel. "Hi." said Clarissa. "Are you new here?" asked Nigel. "Yeah, I'm actually Aunt Isabella's niece." said Clarissa. "Wait, you're her niece?" said Nigel. "That's what she said." said Nicole. "I'm Nigel Richards." said Nigel. "I'm Nicole Orville, Nigel's childhood friend." said Nicole. "It's nice to meet you, two." said Clarissa. "You, too." said the two childhood friends.
"Do you know Kendra?" said Clarissa. "Yeah, she was our team member. What's wrong with her?" said Nigel. "I feel concerned about her dark past that my aunt told me about, Kendra didn't say a word, and she was just scared to say something." said Clarissa. "Maybe, she doesn't want to tell you her secret. That's why she's scared." said Nigel. "Oh." said Clarissa.
"OK, guys, we got a mission going on. The mission is to find who is the mastermind who orders a hit on the 16-year old girl to be beaten by his/her companions, 5 college students. Who's in?" said Isabella. "We're in." said Nigel and Nicole. "I'm joining the mission." said Kendra. "Clarissa, I know you haven't been on a mission before, do you wanna join in?" said Isabella.
Kendra looked at Clarissa with a blank expression, Clarissa looked at her back. "Yes, ma'am. I am." said Clarissa as she looked at her aunt. "Alrighty, let's get to it." said Isabella.
At the victim's home... Clarissa, Nigel, Kendra, and Nicole went inside when the girl's mother allows them in.
"So, when did this happen when your daughter got beaten?" asked Clarissa. "Well, it happened 4 days ago when she had an argument with her assistant specialist. She called her assistant specialist no good, strict woman. After that, she got beaten up by some college students who are told to beat her. She went back home after got beaten, I was so shocked and upset. I comforted her with a hug, she was crying. Her brothers and sisters were crying, her youngest sister says that she had a nightmare about 6 days ago and then it was real. Who ever told the college students to beat up my daughter needs to be arrested and sued for being the mastermind." said the victim's mother. "What's your daughter's name?" asked Nigel. "Her name is Joanne Harden." said the victim's mother, who is now named Mrs. Harden. "Joanne, you say?" said Nigel. "Yes." said Mrs. Harden.
"Don't worry, we'll find out who is the mastermind as soon as possible." said Clarissa. "OK, thank you so much." said Mrs. Harden. "No problem." said Clarissa.
After the conversation with Mrs. Harden, Nigel drives to the library. Clarissa looks at Kendra looking at the window.
"Hey Kendra, I'm sorry that I talk to you about your dark past." said Clarissa. "No, I'm sorry that I got so nervous and run off without saying a word." said Kendra. "It's OK, we all know that we made mistakes sometimes. Don't let your dark past get to you, but you will remember your daughter." said Clarissa. Kendra smiled at Clarissa, Clarissa smiled back.
