Chicago, Illinois
2 months later...

THE TWO HAD TO BE CAUTIOUS. Autobots and anyone in contact with them, including humans, were automatically terminated in sight. Optimus drive in his alt mode carefully through the calm yet messy streets of Chicago. Well, what's left of it.

Genevieve stared at the once beautiful city; tears beginning to form as she saw some of the remainings of people's bodies. She wanted to look away, but she was so draw that she couldn't.

Oprimus noticed this but didn't know what to say. Genevieve was in that terrible battle, lost a lot of people. Even her own mother, Optimus' sparkmate.

Genevieve is only 8 years old and she has to see her own mother killed in front of her. It was terrible even for a man/mech like Optimus.

"Dad?" Optimus snapped out of thought as he approached their old home. Genevieve didn't want to go in. There were too many memories. Most of them with her mom. It was going to be difficult to not think about it.

But she had to go in anyway.

"We won't be long. We have to catch up with Ratchet and Bumblebee." Optimus said as he opened the passenger door. Genevieve nodded before she hopped out of his alt mode and headed towards the front door.

The door was already open, which kind of scared Genevieve. She couldn't remember if her mom forgot to close the door all the way or if someone broke in while they were gone. She cautiously opened the door and saw everything the way it was before.

They forgot to close the door all the way. Genevieve sighed in relief before walking all the way in. She saw everything. The living room where she stored all her Barbie dolls at, the kitchen where there was still an unopened box of pasta left on the counter, the closet where all of her beads and bracelets were stored.

Everything was still there.

"Grab what you need and let's be out of here in 15." Optimus, in his holoform, said as Genevieve nodded and ran up the steps to her room. As she entered the room, she realized that her room was no longer a bright sky blue that made the entire room look like an underwater hologram. But a dark gray that makes a war zone look to the room.

She sighed before she went to her closet began to dig through it; looking for weapons that are useful. But something stood out, a bracelet. Only it looked a little Cybertronian. Genevieve pulled it out and blew the dust off of it.

She's never seen it before while she was living here. She went to call for her dad when it projected a girl about 15 in front of her.

"If you are seeing this, then I must be dead. These messages are to Optimus Prime and the Autobots." The girl said as Genevieve gasped.

"DAD!" She heard heavy footsteps and saw her dad rush in.

"What is it?" He follwed Genevieve's gaze and saw the holographic girl standing in front of them.

"If you are listening to this, Optimus Prime, then you need to know that the planet Earth is still not safe. Even though you have stopped the Decepticons, a new threat has awaken and she will stop at nothing to stop the one true enemy of Cybertron. You must recruit all of the Autobots that are still alive and you need to recruit them now. You are Earth's only hope. Do it for them. Do it for the fallen Autobots. Do it for your daughter, Genevieve." The message ended and Genevieve slowly met her father's face.

His afce showed nothing but shock and determination. He had to get to the Autobots now. If it is that big of a threat, he needs to get to them fast.

"Genevieve, we're leaving. Come on." Optimus said as he walked out of the room and rushed down the steps. Genevieve quickly grabbed her backpack, but stopped when she saw a journal. She quickly grabbed it before heading down the stairs.

She took one last look of her home before she rushed out of the house.
