*weekend pasts. Nothing happens just tells friends what happened. Went to mall with friend*

I walk into school and I walk to my friend
"Hey" Brianna says
"Hi"
"Did Zach talk to you after friday" she asks
"No" I answer
"Oh well at least you didn't have to deal with him"
"Honestly this whole weekend I didn't even think about him" I say
"Good" she says
When I say it I see he is near me
"Oh great" my friend whispers
"Hey bestie" he says
"Hi"
"Are you still mad" he asks
"I don't care anymore honestly like I told you if you want to spend time with her you can. I understand you don't want another ex this month. I just don't want to loose my best friend"
"Okay good I just didn't want you to be mad" he says then he leaves
" 'I don't want to loose my best friend.' You are an awful liar I didn't believe it for a second" Brianna says
"Well it worked for him"
"One day he'll realize that you like him"
"That day won't come faster"
The bell rings and I go to English. By the time I'm in class Chris is there and I notice he's looking at the door and when I walk in he looks away.
