School is finally over and I almost run to my car
All throughout the day I've been avoiding Zach and it surprisingly worked
I get to my car and wait for Jack to show up. As I was trying to get out of the school and out of Zach's sight as soon as possible I kind of lost Jack in the hallway
Eventually, he gets to my car out of breath. I get out of the car and help him when I see his hand is all bloody
"Oh my god what did you do" I say when I notice this
"Don't worry about it"
I shake my head and put his stuff in the back as he goes in the front
When I get back in my car I see Zach walking with a black eye, bloody nose, and cut lip
"did you do that" I ask pointing to Zach
"Maybe"
"Jack!"
"I'm sorry I couldn't control it. He came up to me after school saying that I'm changing you and all this stuff and I couldn't handle it so I just punched him and I kept punching him until I saw blood"
"But why"
"I really don't know. Something came over me and wouldn't go away until I saw him in pain"
"Whatever lets just go home" I say starting to drive away
"Are you mad at me" he asks when I drive away
"I don't know Jack I really don't know"
The rest of the car ride is an uncomfortable silence
After what seems like a while we finally get to my house
I get out and get mine and jacks stuff and walk inside
I throw our stuff on the couch and sit down putting my head in my hands
