She leapt from the wall like a graceful cat. She pulled the hood more closer to her face as she ran into the cold night at superspeed. She had no time to stop and access what was happening to her, those men were on her tail and cold was running down her spine at the thought of what they had in store for her. She just knew one thing: She had to escape. She knew what she had to do. He explained the process a gazillionths time. Thinking about him brought sadness to her heart. She just wished he was alright. She wanted to go back there and save him from whatever they had prepared for him. After all, it was her fault if he was marked now as a traitor. He wouldn't be in danger if she hadn't elaborated that stupid plan. Guilt washed over like a punch in the gut, and she stopped right in her tracks.

_ Damn those bitches of emotions. She groaned silently.

Right, he had warned her about that. Emotions were the weak point. She couldn't let emotions interfere in this huge mess. So, she glanced at the stars in the sky and whispered:

_ Be safe.

He finally made it to the island, wishing for her to be safe. He needed her to be safe. She was the only one who could make his heart race like nobody else. He remembered the first day he met her. She was running away from her bullies, and she was frightened about the fact that her parents could ground her for her attire. For him she looked like a ragged goddess. He had told not to worry and had invited her to stay the night with him. She had refused, saying her parents would be worried and that she wasn't sleeping with him on the first meeting. He had found it funny and had told her that she could tell her parents that she was studying with a friend and that he could help her with her attire. They made love that night.
He sighs. He could still remember how frustrated she was after that night. He had told her not to worry and she had believed him once again. They dated for a while after that until she discovered that project his boss was working on. He was thinking that it would have been a great help for her......

_ I think he drowned himself.

He hid until the voices got down and when he got up, a cold metal was pressed against the back of his head. He raised his hands up in the air and a voice, cold as the night itself, spoke:

_ Don't make any move, you traitor.

He recognized the voice. He was done for. He closed his eyes and said what was probably his last prayer:

_ Be safe

&&&&&&&&&&

They pushed her on the wall like she was some kind of meat. The guy grabbed her by the neck and raised her up in the air.

_Lem......me go.

She was unable to breath. No, she didn't want to die like that. Not on her first day at MileHigh. She tried to set the guy's hands loose. The pressure was too much.

_ Watchu tryna do, nerd? The girl finally asked with a smirk.

The whole school was watching the scene... Well except for the authorities.

_ Dontchu worry, the girl spoke. We ain't gonna kill a useless piece of garbage. Ya just gon have to retain one thin...

The girl stepped in front of her struggling figure.

_ Don't come in our way.

The guy finally let her fall to the ground. And they all left her there, choking on her own blood, with her books dripping wet.

Oh god. What was she going to tell her parents?

Hey guys JulianaCbrra here! This is my first story and I hope you like it! Starting from here, I will try to update every night. I know I have a problem 😅 I've fixed a deadline to myself, a 30 days writing deadline tbh. Still don't know why I did it tho 😑 Ahem.... What was I saying? Oh yes don't forget to follow me and tell me in the comments what you think about the story. You can also give me ideas on how to write it. It will be well appreciated and like  some other writers says:

Tap that 🌟 button please!

PS: Texts in bold are for guys and texts in italics are for flashbacks. The normal writing is for girls. I made up this pattern for a better understanding of the story... You know like POV's and all....

I think they understand you enough

Yeah, he's right. Now go to sleep. You have school tomorrow.

Author: Well that's harsh, my own characters are chasing me from my own book. Like hell I'm gonna accept that!
*sees characters holding spears* Actually I won't say no to a beauty sleep. Good night, fellows!

PS: You'll know the name of these two tomorrow. Well for one of them, it will take some time, but....

Author!

Oh well good night.

I know I'm crazy. XD

Kudos 🙃
