Kara woke suddenly to hear her phone ringing next to her head. Alex. She quickly answered
"Hey Kara. Monel is awake but he attacked two guards"
Karas stomach fell to her feet and she fought back tears. Why was she even crying? Did she really expect everything to be fine? Kara hung up and flew to the DEO. Alex tried to make eyecontact when she arrived but Kara kept her head down and marched to the containment area.
Mon-el sat with his head in his hands but he looked up when she came in.
"Kara" he breathed
"Cut it out Mon-el, are you even Mon-el? Are you even Mon-el?"
"yes Kara, it's me"
"then why don't I believe you? You attacked two guards. The Mon-el I knew 7 months ago would not have dared..." Kara began
"7 years"
"what?"
"its been 7 months for you, but 7 years for me"
Kara fought the urge to cry again and stormed out of the room. She yelled at Winn to keep an eye on Mon-el and flew off to CatCo to see Lena.
