Its four in the morning when the monitor that told her beautiful heart beat went silent it jolted me awake I grabbed her hand and begged her to pls not be dead it was less the two seconds affter the monitor stopped the doctors came in and she was rushed out.I am left sitting there wondering why my Cassie why her . Her family arrives shortly affter looks around and asks me if I know were she is I tell them in between sobs that her heart stopped beating and they took her. Took her were her mother screamed in between tears.To see if they can save her I snap back .She is my best friend and is the only reason I sat here all night in this cold hospital room I scream at her mother .Okay okay her mom says I am sorry I didn't understand .I walk away and I hear the soft padding of foot steps approaching and I look up I see the same doctor who had rushed Cassie away coming up to me.I am sorry for your loss he said we worked very hard to save her she wanted me to give you this note tho if she were to pass away and he apologizes again then walks away .

tears fall and hit my jeans that I have been wearing for three weeks and I hold the letter to my heart and try not to have another fit of sobs but they come any way tears run down my face and I realize that I have just lost my best friend and my soul mate .Cassie's mom comes up next to me and hugs me and talked to me as if I were her own child .Cassie loved you and wanted the best for you she talked about you a lot at home ya I say if she did then why in the hell didn't you support her until it was to late and shrug out of her hug and storm of to call my dad .

My dad picked up and I try my best not to cry while asking him to come get me and he says he is on his way to breath and be ready .I say my final goodbyes to the family behind me as I exit the hospital and get into my dads car .And give one last look at the place were I lost my life my reason to smile my everything
