Simon closed his eyes and took a step forward, extending his arms and grabbing blindly at the shelf before him. he stopped when his fingers enclosed around a familiar packaging, the wrinkling noise making him smile. he extracted the package and opened his eyes.

birthday cake.

okay, not bad. not the best, though.

"finally. c'mon now, we still gotta go get milk." Bram's hand was already holding Simon's as he spoke, gently tugging him on towards the freezers.

Simon placed the birthday cake flavored Oreo's into the basket he was holding. it's not as if he took that long.

"can we get almond milk this time?"
