and so they went back to the room after dinner and laid down to finish the movie. after thirty minutes had passed, they slowly drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
it wasn't until around 12 when Simon heard the front door opening and the loud laughter from his family. and it wasn't until 12:15 when he heard the creak of his door opening and seeing his oldest sister popping her head in to check on them.
and it wasn't until 12:30 when Simon felt Bram shift under the blankets and tangling his legs with Simon's and wrapping his arms around Simon's waist, a soft snore slipping though his slightly parted lips.
Simon looked around his room at that moment and he thought that, sure, they were both laying on the floor, but at that moment there couldn't have been a more comfortable place to be in.
