My name is (y/n). I'm 17 and i'm from San Francisco, California. I live in a household of three: my dad and my twin brother and I. My mother passed away when we were only two years old. And we've been struggling ever since. My dad's a lawyer, it may seem like a good enough job to put food on the table and pay rent, but it's not. He works in a dreadful law firm that's always so desperate to recruit clients. Why can't he just get a new job? It's because he can't. All his life he was prepared to become a lawyer. Sure, he turned out to be an adequate one, but no law firm would accept him because of his mysterious background that no one seems to know about, no one living anyway.
My brother and I aren't really cut out for this whole school thing. I fell back a grade while he managed to maintain in his year. I have 2 friends named Sasha and Keisha, but it's not like we're childhood friends. We only met a couple months ago when school started up, so it's not like I could tell them everything while we're doing face masks and fangirling over kpop boy bands.
Overall, life has never been easy. But with the unexpected encounter with the weird sheltered student named Taehyung, it didn't make life any easier. And that's also, where my story begins.
