Me and Dean had just came out of a cute little Dairy Queen when this group of guys who looked like frat boys. I heard them all say damn at once. "Jesus, girl. Please lemme get a piece of that cake." one said while touching my hips. I quickly turned around, and drove my knee upwards and into his groin. The rest of his buddies got the hint not to fuck with me, and they backed away from me. I positioned my foot so that the slightest movement would've completely crushed them.
"Look here you pathetic, irrelevant, disgusting little shit. Don't you ever put your hands on me again. I could honestly kill you right now, and nobody would be able to find your body. I can expose you to levels of pain that your tiny little brain can't even begin to comprehend, but you aren't worth the jail time. So for right now, you can deal with me stepping on them like the little bugs that they are." That's exactly what I did. "You'd better be glad that I didn't call any cops." I got into the car when Dean, and we drove off.
"You hungry, babe?" asks Dean.
"Of course I am. I want Red Lobster."
"Their fucking bread is so fucking good. The cheese makes my mouth water.
That's where we went for lunch.
The food was great, and then Dean paid for me to have my nails done. I got them in a matte black color, and they were coffin shaped. I had them put a little gemstone on the middle finger. It'll be something small and pretty for the next person I flip off to look at. Daddy was blowing up my phone since we were at that nail place, so we figured that it was time for me to go home. We pulled into the driveway of my and Daddy's house, and Daddy was waiting for me on the front porch. I hardly even got out of the car before Daddy captured me in a big bear hug.
"Baby. I missed you so much. Did you have fun? Young lady, you better have a good explanation as to why you didn't answer any of my calls or texts."
"Daddy, I was getting my nails done."
"So what?" he says leading me into the house.
"When they do them, you aren't allowed to move your hand very much." I say flopping onto the couch.
"Hmm. Okay fine. I'll let it go this one time." I showed Daddy my pretty nail, and he likes them just as much as I do. He even laughed when I told him about the gemstone on my middle finger.

~Next Morning Jackson's POV~
"Now explain to me why you were an hour late to the job you just got, Mrs. Daniels?"
"I live out of the city, and I had to drive my husband to work, and drop my daughter off at her day school."
"Why don't you just get two cars, Mrs. Daniels?" She looked down in a shameful manner, so I softened my tone. "Mrs. Daniels, please relax. I'm not going to fire you. Don't you dare be ashamed, we've all got to start somewhere." She looked up with watery eyes, and explained,
"We don't have the money. My husband and I just moved, and he just started working again. I got this job to help out, because while he was working I was a stay at home mom." Now there are fountains of tears are falling freely from her delicate green eyes.
I gave her a box of tissues that sits in my office. I gave her a few moments to get herself back together. "Mrs. Daniels, here's what I'm going to do for you and your family. My girlfriend owns a house that is much closer to our building here. You and your family will move there, with assistance from my moving company of course, and I'm going to give you an SUV. You will have to pay rent to Charli, but everything else will be taken care of by myself. Do not come late to work again."
"No, Mr. Michaels, I can't let you pay for all of this. This is too much."
I crossed my fingers as I leaned forward on the desk. "Mrs. Daniels, the only way I can keep you employed here is to do this. Being fired from my company definitely doesn't look good on anyone's resume, especially not for something as small and frivolous as tardiness. If you continue to refuse my generous offer, then you will be fired. I can't have someone in my offices if I can't even trust them enough to come to work on time."
"Thank you so much," she says while vigorously shaking my hand. "I won't disappoint you, I promise."
"It's no problem at all Mrs. Daniels, just hold up your end of the deal, and I will hold up mine as well." I said cracking a smile. She left my office with a smile so huge that I could've lit up the entire city of Detroit. See? I can be nice...sometimes.

~Later That Day at Home
I heard thundering footsteps and yelling as I came in the front door. I smiled knowing that it was Charli and put my things down ahead of time because her running into me hugs make me drop everything on a regular basis. Sh'e always this excited when I come home from work.
"Daddy, you're home! I missed you." she says planting kisses all over my face.
"I know you did babygirl. What'd you do while I was gone kiddo?" I picked her up and put her on my hip as I went upstairs heading towards my room.
"Well, I was coloring, then I made myself yummy french toast, then I took a nap, and then I colored some more, I ordered a big burrito and McDonald's fries, took another nap, and I was just watching TV upstairs when I heard you pulling into the driveway."
I frowned a little bit. "That;s all you did today?"
"Well Daddy, you never let me outside of the house unless I'm with you, so yeah I was a house body today. I didn't get to do anything AT ALL today." I got into my bedroom, and Charli ended up laying on her stomach watching my undress.
"Would you like for me to find someone to stay here and play with you while I'm at work?" I say while putting my legs through the boxer shorts.
"Yeah, but please make whoever you choose be a girl. I have enough testosterone to deal with living with you."
I chuckled, "Fine little girl."
