Chapter 24

   Daddy put me in the living room with the tv remote while he was cooking in the kitchen. "Now you know what you can and can't watch, and if anything makes you uncomfortable you come sit in the kitchen with Daddy okay?"

"Yes Daddy."

"Oh, and there's a few new friends that Daddy got for you. They're hidden all over the living room." I got super excited, and started running all around the living room looking for these 'new friends' that Daddy was talking about. I looked in between the couch cushions, and I found a cute little monkey.

I held it close and squealed while jumping up and down. 

"Sounds like you've found something babe." 

"Yes Daddy I found a monkey hiding in the couch." 

"Keep looking, kiddo there are two more in there somewhere." Daddy said. I was holding my monkey in one hand, and I was excitedly skipping around the living room. I looked under the loveseat, and I found a stuffed elmo. 

"EEEEEKK Daddy you got me a Elmo! I love Elmo."

"I know you do button, that's why I got him. There's one more, and by the time you find it, dinner will be all done."

Alright, time to put on my big girl panties, and find the last stuffie. I wonder where Daddy could've put it. I looked under every couch and in between every cushion. I wanted to tear apart that whole living room to be completely honest, but I was just in trouble for doing that. 

"Daddy are you sure that the last one is in here?"

"Are you trying to call Daddy a liar, little girl?"

"Of course not Daddy. I believe you." I say quickly with the good kind of chills going down my spine. 

"Well keep looking then baby, you'll find it."

I huffed when I noticed the one place that I didn't check. The little table that Daddy and I eat at. I checked all the chairs surrounding the table and I found a super fluffy stuffed panda bear.
