Chapter 8

I just want Taytum and Oakley back. I just feel so empty without them. The house is now really quiet and I just miss them. Corey misses them too. He doesn't really say anything about it. I guess he tries not to upset me. He does more work with the detectives then me. They are always calling him and giving him updates. Apparently he told them about my encounters with Jake and Bradley. The detectives talked to them. They said they didn't take anything Jake said seriously because he just took the entire thing as a joke. Jake's house is getting searched sometime this week. He doesn't know that yet though. It's going to be a surprise visit. Since he is a youtuber and that youtube video was posted they just want to check and make sure. When they questioned Bradley they said he was totally fine and found nothing suspicious. His story was that he justed wanted to help me find then and said it seemed fair that in return I dated him. As for Everleigh she misses them too. She also likes being the only child again and getting all the attention. 

We are having a do nothing stay at home type day. We haven't had ones of those in a while. Me, Everleigh and Corey were sitting on the couch watching a movie. For the past twenty minutes my phone has been going off like crazy. It's over on the counter and I didn't feel like getting up to get it.

"Can you go get that? It might be important" Corey says.

"And it's annoying" Everleigh says.

"Ok. I'll be right back" I say.

I get up and sit at the counter. Right as I pick my phone up Sarah calls. I answer

"Hey" I say

"Have you seen the video?" She says.

"What video?" I ask.

"The person that posted the first Taytum and Oakley video posted another one. This one seemed like it was targeted to you" She says.

"I'll call you back in a couple minutes" I say and hangup.

"Corey come here" I say. He stands up and comes over to me. I turn the video on. The video was titled "TAYTUM AND OAKLEY MISS THEIR MOMMY"

This time they were sitting on a carpet with some toys. The person says, "Hi Taytum and Oakley" in a modified voice

They both say hi back and continue to play with the toys.

He then says, "Your mommy is going to see this. Want to say anything to her?" He asks.

They got really excited when he said that. They both stand up and jumping up and down.

"Where my mommy?" Oakley asks.

"Go see mommy!" Taytum says.

"She isn't here but I'm going to send this video to her" He says.

"Hi mommy!" Taytum says.

"I miss you" Oakley says.

"And daddy!" Taytum says.

"Yeah daddy. And Ever" Oakley says.

"Ok now say bye bye" He says.

"Bye bye" Taytum says.

"Bye mommy" Oakley says and gives the camera a kiss.

"Your close the finding me Sabrina. Keep looking" He says and then the video ends.

Before the video was even over Corey was on the phone with the detecives.

"We saw the video Mr. Fogelmanis. We are trying to find a location from windows. We can't get an actual address from the video but it is safe to say they are definitely in California. I think we could also say they don't look abused physically or mentally so that is all good news" She says over the phone.

"Ok thank you" Corey says and hangs up. "I really hate this" He says to me.

"I do too" I say.
