Chapter 11

"Good news mr. and mrs. Fogelmanis. Your girls are fine. No physical or sexual abuse and I'm not a therapist but they seem to be fine mentally. As for Everleigh's cut on her knee that is already healing and she will be ok" She says. Of course Everleigh has to make everything about her. Last week when she went to the park with Corey they were walking around and eating ice cream Everleigh fell. Corey said she was more upset about dropping her ice cream then falling and cutting her knee.

"Ok that's good. Thank you" I say.

"Is there anything we should do for them just incase there is any trauma" Corey asks.

"Like I said I'm not a therapist but I'm sure taking them home and just being with them will make them feel better" She says. "Your lucky, I have dealt with abduction cases a lot worse then these" She says.

"Thank you" I say.

After a couple minutes of talking about what is going to happen next we went home. I just wanted to sit home all day with all three of my babies.

"What do you girls want to do today?" I ask. To be honest I just wanted to sit and hold them all day long and not let them go.

"Watch a movie with Taytum and Oakley." Everleigh says.

"I kinda wanted to go in the pool today" Corey says.

"But daddy the pool isn't open yet" Everleigh says.

"It got opened today as we left" I say.

"Yay! Let's do the pool!" Everleigh says

"Yeah! Pool!" Taytum says.

"Do you want to do the pool Oakley?" I turn around and ask her.

"Yeah" She says.

We go home and I bring the girls upstairs. Corey went and got all the pool toys from the garage.

We went into Taytum and Oakley's room first. They were really excited to be in there room again and play with there toys.

"Do you want to go pick out a bathing suit and then I'll help you get dressed in here?" I ask Everleigh.

"Yeah" She says.

She runs into her room and me, Taytum and Oakley stayed in there room. They were running around and playing. I knew I was going to have no luck getting them dressed. I didn't mind. I haven't seen them in a week and they can do whatever they want as long as they are with me.

Everleigh came back in with her blue bathing suit (my favorite one that she owns) and I helped her put it on.

"Can I go see what daddy is doing?" She asks.

"Yeah. If he's not by the pool stay inside until you see him" I say. I don't like her going outside by herself. She can swim the best a four year old can but it's just for safety.

"Ok" She says.

I turn my attention back to Taytum and Oakley.

"Mommy. This" Taytum says and throws a book in my lap.

"After I read this can I get you dressed and then we will go in the pool?" I ask.

"Yeah" Taytum says and moves the book and sits in my lap.

I open the book and read the first page. Oakley comes and sits next to me. I put my arm around her and continue to read.

Once the book was done they both look up at me with matching expressions. I laughed and gave them each a kiss on the cheek.

I got them dressed. I put Oakley in a blue bathing suit and put Taytum in a matching orange colored one.

After they come into my room with me and I change. They sat on me and Corey's bed playing with the pillows and playin peek a boo with the blankets. They were extremely giggly and happy today.
