Chapter 9

I hate that someone is targeting me for a reason I don't even know and they used my biggest weakness, my kids.

So they are checking out Jake Paul's house today. This house is apparently huge and has many exits and many people living in it so they are doing it very carefully. First they had to get a search warrant. Then they had to make a plan to block all the exits before going into the house and all that. It's a big whole thing. I didn't get all the info.

They told us not to go. They said if they find the twins or even a trace of them they will contact us immediately and if they find nothing they are still going to call us. I'm just going to be anxious all day until I get the phone call.

Me and Corey aren't going into work today. Micheal was totally fine with that. We are just home waiting for a phone call right now.

"Mommy will we see Taytum and Oakley today?" Everleigh asks me. She is sitting on our living room floor playing with some toys.

"I don't really know. I hope we do" I say.

"I hope so too. I miss them" She says.

"I miss them too" I say.

I played with her for a little while to pass the time. I was still checking the time every three minutes.

"Sabrina" Corey says and walks into the room. He was in our office doing stuff all morning.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"I think this is it" He says and tosses me the house phone.

I catch it and answer.

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

"Hey Sabrina. It's Claire. We searched the house and it did not take long. I'll talk to you more about that when you get here but come on down. We have Taytum and Oakley" She says.
