"Are you ready, Harls?" Tommy asked his little sister as he pulled out a cigarette, lighting it. He glanced down at the girl, her blue eyes sparkling up at him. "There's work to be done today." Harlow nodded and smiled up at her dear big brother.
It had been nice having all her brothers home from the war in the last few months, having them around her. The silence when they left, almost swallowed her whole. If she hadn't had Finn, Ada, and Polly by her side all these years the three older men were gone, she didn't know she would have done.
Tommy walked the small streets of Birmingham to gather her older brothers, as she followed in tow. Stopping at each location only long enough for Tommy to tell the men of the family meeting occurring in a little while.
It was nice being involved with the family business, being that she was only fifteen. Though what did they except when she shouted and pouted about wanting to be more involved, when they let Finn tag along and he was only eleven. So Harlow threw the biggest fit any Shelby has ever seen, begging to be more involved.Even just a little bit as she got older. And seeing that she wasn't going to stop asking anytime soon, Tommy agreed to let her little by little more involved.
When the two of them finished their walk through Watery Lane, Tommy and Harlow made their way to the family home where Harlow stayed with Polly, Finn, and Ada. Though with Ada married off with Freddie and a babe of their own, the house would be far less crammed.
Harlow could hear Polly silently praying for the older boys' safety when they walked into the home. Her Aunt standing in the doorway of the Bedding den connecting the House to the shop. Polly had done it everyday since the start of the war, since the three brothers left to fight for their country.
"Tommy, I should be allowed to go. Tell Aunt Polly..." Harlow pouted, crossing her arms in front of her chest. She had been begging to go with him and the other men to the races since they woke up that morning, but Tommy had just asked that she stay put for this one. To stay with Polly, and maybe visit Ada, who Harlow seemed to be the only one that their sister allowed to visit her after Freddie was arrested the same day their son was born.
Her brother glared at her sternly, immediately quieting the Shelby girl, throwing his attention back on Polly, "Family meeting, half ten."
"Can I at least go with you and the boys to get your suites?" She asked sweetly, glanced between her aunt and brother. Tommy loosened a throaty chuckle. Though Tommy was easy to convince, Polly, on the other hand. It was like pulling teeth with her. Unless it came to boys, then she might as well become a nun. Because no one was going to let that happen.
"Very well."

With Harlow following in the mitts of the Peaky Blinders and her brothers, they walked into Mr. Zhang's service shop where the boys' suits were being pressed. The man that owned the shop was speaking quietly to a girl, arguing from what it looked like. Harlow knew the girl to be an entertainer that Polly always told her to stay away from. That she shouldn't associate herself with such girls.
