Chapter 1: Ravenswood

Cadence's POV

"Cadieeeee!!!!!!!!" Nakakabinging tili ni Celestia sa akin, sabay yakap. "Gosh! I missed you so much Cadie!" Sabi pa niya habang yakap-yakap ako.

"Tsk, Get off me." I uttered. She pouted as a reply.

"But sweetie, yan ba ang welcome speech mo sakin? 'Tsk, get off me'." At ginaya pa ang tono ko. It doesn't suit her, psh.

"Of course, don't expect me to say such lies. I don't do sugarcoating." Sabi ko.

"You're mean, I still love you anyway. So kahit di mo namiss ang maganda mong ate, I'm still pretty and that should be fine." She confidently said.

"Like I care, if you're pretty." I replied back that made her pout even more. Hindi ba nangangawit ang nguso niya?

"Ugh! Leave me alone, Cadie. I'm pretty even though you don't care and that's FINAL." Okay, okay. Dream on sis, tsk.

We made our way to the mansion. Madaming yumuyuko upang magbigay galang sa amin. We are the Quetezlia's Rulers, after all. Hindi man halata na isang dugong bughaw si Celestia dahil sa ugali niyang parang bata, kapag nagseryoso naman siya ay tiyak na kikilabutan ang kung sino man.

"Welcome back, Princess Celestia." Father said with his arms wide open, same as Mom.

"Finally, Dad! Mom! I missed you so much." Sabi niya habang yakap-yakap sina Dad and Mom.

"Kamusta ang pagpupulong Celestia? Naging maayos naman ba?" Tanong ni Dad, Celestia was the representative of our kingdom for the Council's Meeting. Dad was still on Wendelave to settle something with the King. Kaya si Celestia ang pumunta.

"It was fine, dad. I can't beleive na 2 months akong nasa Council Meeting. Saan ka makakita na buwan ang itinagal ng pagpupulong na iyon? We just talked about the kingdom's current state. Kung may problema or progress sa economy, you know the Council and their malicious stares." Sabi pa niya. Well, that's the Council after all. Konting problema lang gagawan nila ng issue and then next is their most awaited downfall of the land. But thanks to wise rulers, walang nagaganap na pagbagsak na inaasam nila. Pero some are at critical condition already, how pathetic the Council is. Ginagawa talaga nila ang lahat mapasakanila lang ang kapangyarihan upang pamunuan ang buong Magic World. They are a bunch of greedy and old men who just want to circle the world in their filthy palms. May mababait rin naman but bilang lang sila.

"Hayaan na natin sila, masyado lang silang nabubulag sa kapangyarihan." sabi ni Mom. Bumuntong hininga naman si Dad at tumingin sakin.

"Cadenza, can you please accompany our guests tomorrow? Si Celestia ay magpapahinga muna while me and your Mom will prepare for the Royal Ball." Saad ni Dad. As much as I want to decline, he is the King and it will be really absurd if I will break his request. I sighed then said yes.

"Thank you dear, ang Royal Family ng Ravenswood ang bibisita sa atin bukas. You tour them around the castle, then lead the way to their rooms. Am I clear?" I was about to utter yes when the name of the Kingdom buffered in my mind.

"RAVENSWOOD?!" Napasigaw ako at sinamaan ako ng tingin ni Dad.

"Yes, Ravenswood. Why? And please don't shout." Okay, I'm just freaking out because of their cold prince. I hate it when someone is cold on me when I myself is one. How ironic right?

"N-none, Dad. You can rely on me." Dad said okay then I stormed out of the room.

Dumiretso ako sa kwarto ko at pinatugtog ang favorite lullaby ko.
