,,2013, right after bts debuted,,

y/n and jin had been friends since kindergarten but, due to jin having to move back to south korea just before they graduated from middle school, their longterm friendship was cut short.

it was a warm, summer afternoon and y/n was currently strolling around her favourite park, humming a sweet tune and occasionally petting the dogs (and other animals) that approached her.

as she was about to take a pause and sit down under her and jin's favourite tree when they were younger, she felt strong arms wrap around her waist, whilst a man's voice exclaimed;

"y-y/n?! you've grown so much! it's me, seokjin!"

and, the second those words left his mouth, she turned around - her eyes shining brighter than the sun and stars combined - and hugged him so hard they both fell.

"jin! i missed you so much!"

she screamed, causing him to let out his iconic windshield-like laugh.

the two then spent the rest of the day, well into the night, just catching up and talking each others' ears off. but what really surprised y/n was that jin was now 1/7 of a korean pop group by the name of bts.

"what?! y-you're joking, right??"

jin chuckled at her dumbfounded expression.

"nope! i'm telling you the truth! hey, i'll even take you to meet the other 6 members!"

"really?!"

and with that, the two headed to the hotel Jin and the other boys were staying.

jin currently stood with y/n in front of his hotel, fumbling in his wallet for his room key as he didn't want to knock and wake the guys up. y/n, on the other hand, was growing very sleepy and tired of waiting, so, without even a bit of hesitation, she knocked on the door and made Jin ask the guys to let them in.

"kim seokjiiiiin!"

the guy who opened the door practically screeched out.

"hey, eomma, who's the girl??"

another one asked.

and, in less than 5 minutes, 5 of the remaining 6 members had already crowded around the two "lovers", as the guys were now calling them, and were now asking way too many personal questions.

y/n, luckily, managed to escape - leaving jin to deal with, the now, electric members by himself.

y/n found herself sitting in what she now knew to be jin's room - thanks to the very shy boy she encountered when she escaped the others.

she waited for a while before laying down and getting some shut-eye -figuring she'd wake up immediately if he entered the room since she's usually a very light sleeper

the next morning, y/n found herself being spooned by her long-lost friend.

"j-jin! w-what are you doing?"

she exclaimed, basically screeching, in a baffled and embarrassed tone.

jin chuckled at her tone and pulled her into a small, unexpected, yet loving kiss.

"do you know how happy i was to see you? you looked like a goddess! you're so beautiful with those curves of yours and that gorgeous chubby face; you made the trees and flowers look horrific and ugly! i missed you so much, y/n... will you give me a chance?"

y/n blushed and nodded shyly before gently pulling him down and planting a small, joyful kiss on his plump lips.

"how can i say no?"
