Chapter 7: You've Changed

Me, Paige, and Emma went to lunch in the hotel cafeteria. We sat down at a table and ordered.

Then, of course, I looked up to see the Shield walking into the cafeteria.

"Is he stalking me?" I asked.

Paige and Emma turned their attention to Dean.

Paige looked back at me. "Maybe you should tell him something. No harm in it."

"What should I say?" I asked.

"I don't know.... 'Back the fuck off'" she said.

I smiled. "Says the girl who wants me to talk to him."

"Yeah. Hear him out.....then tell him to get the hell outta your life." Paige said. "The thing is, I can't even imagine you with Ambrose. Especially at 15." She said.

"Yeah, he doesn't look like the type of guy to date girls that much younger than them. He doesn't look like the kinda guy to wait for girls either." Emma said.

"And that's how you know he really loves her." Paige said.

"Really loved. That happened in the past." I said.

"I know, but he still loves you. Trust me." Paige said.

"And you still love him." Emma said.

"Guys. He hurt me. What part of that did you not understand?" I asked defensively.

"Carter, everyone deserves a second chance." Paige said.

"No." I shook my head. "Not after what he put me through." I said.

I got up and walked out the cafeteria and back up to my room.

I couldn't believe Paige and Emma were actually siding with Dean. I had finally told them everything and they don't even agree. They take his side.

I packed my things and got ready to leave for Raw. I heard a knock at the door. I figured it was Paige and Emma knocking cause they left their keys in the room.

I opened the door. To my surprise, it was Roman Reigns.

"Roman.....uh......hi." I said.

"So you're the little lady that's got my boy all messed up." Roman said.

"Yeah, I guess." I said.

"He's mentioned you before." He said.

"Really?" I asked. I was surprised Dean had mentioned me.

"Yeah. Me, him, and Seth met a couple years ago in NXT and became really good buddies. We used to ask him why he never went on dates and had girlfriends and stuff. He said he was still in love with this chick back in Ohio. He told us the whole story about how he was with a 15 year old. We couldn't believe it. He told us how much he hurt you. We were surprised. It had been almost 3 years and he hadn't gotten over you yet. And then 2 years later, here you are. When Dean told us that you were the chick, Seth and I were wide eyed." Roman said.

"Oh." I said awkwardly. "Thanks for the info." I said.

What was I supposed to say?

"Yeah." He said.

We paused for moment.

"Soo..." I said finally breaking the silence. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Listen, the facts are, Dean's in love with you. He's really changed a lot for you. Ever since you came back and won't talk to him, he's been all woozy and shit." He said.

"Sorry, but if you want me to get back with him, it's not gonna happen." I said.

"Why do you think that fate brought you two back together after 5 years?" He asked.
