*Author's POV*
April ran back into the house. "She's gone!" She said to Dean.
"What the hell do you mean?" Dean asked.
"I've been looking for her all over." April said. A worried look was on her face.
"WHAT!?!" Dean yelled.
He rushed out the door, "CARTER!" He called.
Connor, Cody, and April followed behind him.
"We have to go look for her." Dean said.
"Alright man, calm down. She always used to wander off when she gets stressed." Cody said.
"Calm down? CALM DOWN? THE GIRL I LOVE IS LOST!" He exclaimed.
"She's not lost. She probably just took a walk. We'll find her. Chill." Cody said.
Carter's POV
Tyler kept his eyes glued firmly on the road.
"Tyler, where are we going?" I asked.
No answer.
"Tyler!" I snapped.
"None of your business." He said.
"Oh sure, since I'm the one getting kidnapped." I said.
"You don't shut your mouth, I'll lock you in the trunk." He threatened.
My eyes widened. I hated being in dark closed spaces. I guess you could say I'm claustrophobic.
I shut my mouth and turned to face the road.
He smirked and chuckled, "Still afraid of small spaces, huh?" He asked.
"Yeah." I said quietly.
"You always were. I remember that about you." He said. "Don't worry sweetheart. I'm not locking you in any small spaces. I'm not that cruel."
"But why, why are you doing this?" I asked.
"Carter, I've changed. I've gotten better. I'm not the same abusive guy I used to be. I knew you wouldn't believe me. I knew you wouldn't talk to me. This was the only way I could get you to talk to me." He said.
"Nothing you say will change the fact that I love my fiancé." I said.
"Yeah, well I love you." He said firmly.
"No you don't." I whispered. "If you loved me you wouldn't have done half the things you did. You wouldn't have hurt me."
"So you're telling me this guy hasn't done anything wrong to you...ever?" He asked.
I stayed silent and that made him chuckle, "You're not fooling anyone, Carter. I knew I recognized that fool on TV. When April told me that was who you were engaged to this afternoon, I was surprised. I know exactly who Dean Ambrose is and I know exactly what he did 5 years ago." He said.
Oh no. He remembered.
"So how else has my sister decided to betray me?" I asked.
"Oh Carter...you have a lot to learn." Tyler chuckled as he drove on.
"So why'd you wait till now?" I asked.
"Well, April called me telling me you were back in town. I'm guessing she didn't know you were engaged." He said.
"I didn't tell anyone." I said.
"Well, she saw the ring and she texted me. Told me all about this....fiancé of yours. Told me that his name was Dean Ambrose. I remembered seeing that guy on TV when I watch Raw for your matches." He said.
