After placing the plate of sandwiches on the table in the kitchen, i returned back to the living room to see the TV on and running on the static channel. I raised an eyebrow, confused as to why it was on.

"I was sure i turned this off before going to the kitchen.." i mumbled, grasping onto the TV remote and turning the TV off. "I might've not, though. Curse my forgetfulness."

Putting the remote back on the coffee table, i went back to the thought i had earlier. "Right, walk in the city as an attempt to forget about the creepy News Report thing." I told myself, as i walked towards my room to change my clothes into something much more comfortable for a walk in the city.

I entered my room and quickly changed into something new. A black tank top and a yellow-orange jacket to top it. A pair of shorts and black sneakers with white knee-length socks.

Grabbing my comb, i quickly combed my dyed faded green hair, making it neat. But some strands still stuck out, I didn't pay much mind on it.

I was about to walk out of my room, but i paused for a brief moment. Pondering over a thought, "it.. wouldn't hurt to bring a bag with some sketchbooks, right?" I grabbed my blue backpack that were filled with two of my sketchbooks and a pencil case.

I squinted my eyes and put my hand up to my neck. My eyes widened and i reached into the bag, feeling around it for a certain object.

My fingers grazed over a chain and a small smile formed on my lips. I gently grabbed it and pulled it out of the bag, revealing a necklace. Its charm was a small circle with a triangle in the middle.

I've never actually known where it came from and what the charm meant. I only found it laying atop of my bedside table one night. Coincidentally, the night where i last saw him.

I've worn and kept it ever since.

Letting out a sigh, i put the necklace on and swung the backpack on my shoulders then walked out of my room.

Walking through the same hallways and passing by the living room, i swiftly grabbed the keys of the house. I spun the set of keys around my finger as i looked back at the turned off TV. A sense of weariness surging through me.

I shook my head, shrugging the feeling off and walked out of the house and locked the door behind me.

I took in a breath and let it out. "Time for a new 'adventure', i guess." I said, as i walked on the sidewalk. Looking around and taking in the familiar surroundings that i saw in my everyday life. The same houses, the same roads, the same buildings.

The same people.

I had a wish. I wanted to see more. I wanted a real adventure, out in the unknown. To see new things, to meet new people.

Its quite a wish, i know. But i have a smidge of hope that my wish would come true.

I walked on the sidewalk for a fair amount of time, taking in the fresh air made me feel relaxed and in a sense of tranquility.

I would stop at times to sit on a bench and sketch my surroundings. I wasn't that good at it, but it wouldn't hurt to try and practice on it.

After sketching, i would walk around again. Buying street food along the way.

A few more minutes of walking later, i decided it would be best to get back home. It seemed like it was about to be noon, "They should be home soon.. i have to clean up before they do,"

Retracing my steps to my home, i found myself at a loss. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked around as i walked, "That's.. oddly weird, i was sure these buildings weren't here before." I mumbled, confusion lacing my words.
