I was five years old now, and living with wolves.

I saw Guino surf down a waterfall with his two cubs, Rikket and Rolle. Guino was a dark blue wolf who loved adventure. Rikket was a mint green color, and the youngest of the two. Rolle was a brown color, but he played in mud so often that he would still be brown even if he really wasn't.

Rikket tried to jump down the waterfall, but he went headfirst and plummeted his snout into the pool below. When he resurfaced, Rikket was unhappy. He climbed onto the bank and shook the water out of his fur. "Well," Guino said, "that's why I stay on a log when I surf."

Meanwhile,  Sahira was feeding her newborn pup. Her other teenage daughter did not seem amused. She was probably upset that she wasn't the one getting all the attention anymore.

I walked through the forest, looking for Kara. I had seen a strange cave back behind the waterfall and I wanted to talk to her about it. It had weird green crystal growing on the cave walls, and a large hallway was lined with odd statues. I had gone into a large, very mossy dome until something with green eyes and a beak snarled at me. I ran out of the cave before I could even catch a glimpse of the rest of its body.

"Kara?" I called, looking around. "There you are!" I yelled. Just as I was looking at Kara, I saw something feathery pressed against her sides. "Wait a minute, why do you have wings?" I asked.

"Oh, right," Kara said, "I forgot to tell you."

"Forgot to tell me what?" I asked.

"Well," Kara said, "every wolf related to royalty has wings. So, since I'm a princess, I have wings. Make sense?"

    I nodded.

"Anyway, what were you going to talk about?" Kara asked.

"Well, I saw a weird cave with crystal and statues in it, and then something with a beak snarled at me." I explained.

    "Where was this?" She asked.

    "Behind the waterfall," I said.

    Kara gasped and nearly fainted.

"Do you know what a gryphos is?" She stared at me, looking worried.

    "No, why?"

"Because," she started, "If that thing wakes up, actually, if all those things wake up, the entire forest could be in danger.
