Prologue

Hey guys so before you begin I just want to warn you that this is a very rushed book. I write this when I first joined wattpad almost 4 years ago so please give me a slight break. I might edit this book but at the some time I thibk I just might rewrite it.
PROLOGUE

Jace was walking up the front steps to Clary's house to ask for Luke and Jocelyn's blessing of him asking Clary to marry him (HOLD YOUR FANGIRLING AND SQUEALING IK IK ). He was let out of the infirmary today and couldn't wait another day to ask Clary's parents he just couldn't. As he rang the door bell Jocelyn opened the door and scowled.

"Clary is at Simon's band practice"

"I actually came to talk to you and Luke about something."

Jocelyn nodded and let him in. Luke smiled as he saw Jace. "How you doing kid?"

"Fine, I have a serious question to ask you guys. You know how much I love Clary right? Well I came here to...ah..." This was harder than Jace thought. "To see if it was alright with you guys to ask... umm.. Clary to marry me?"

Luke smiled "Of course!"

Jocelyn shook her head "Abousletly not!"

"Why not they love each other more than one can possibly love each other and Shadow Hunters do die young."

Jocelyn sat down "Fine I guess"

Jace smiled and raced down to Eric's house to fetch Clary.

Clary sat next to Eric who was trying to flirt with her and kept moving closer to her. "Eric I do have a boyfriend and if he was here right now he will rip you to shreds."

"He doesn't scare me one bit, I bet I can take him out in one blow." Eric leaned forward and kissed Clary. Clary pushed Eric away and slapped him as hard as she could.

"I how much you wanna bet you can't?" Clary smiled and turned around to see Jace. Eric, who was still holding his face in shock, glared at Jace . "Stay away from Clary or I will rip you to shreds." Jace said glaring back.

"Oh yeah? You don't look so tough"

Jace shook his head chuckling. He looked at Clary and planted a kiss on her lips making her blush. Just then Eric punched Jace in the jaw. Jace returned by grabbing him by the throat. "Did you just punch me?"

Eric smiled and nodded feeling victorious, Jace set him down and punched him so hard he broke Eric's nose and cheek bone. He went over by Clary who was now talking with Simon. "Clary lets go back to the Institute I have to ask you something."

Clary nodded and kissed Simon on the cheek "Bye Si."

Jace smirked at Eric who was rolling in pain on the ground.

Once they got in Jace's room. Jace put a locking rune on the door then bent down on one knee "Clary Fairchild, will you make me the happiest man on the planet and marry me?"

Clary smiled shook her head yes and kissed Jace passionately as he slipped the ring on her finger. "This is fantastic! We have to tell my mom and Luke and Isabelle and Simon!"

"I already told your parents, I actually asked permission before I came pick you up from Simon's band practice."

Clary smiled and kissed Jace. Jace picked her up an flung her onto his bed and began to remove his clothes as she did the same. When they came together it was like nothing they had ever felt before. Jace pounding against her as she moaned his name.

After 2 hours they fell asleep in each other's arms.
