Rose found herself hacking away at the straw dummy for hours on end, slicing the sack of hay until it was unrecognizably destroyed. Since Joffery's proclamation of her upcoming wedding, men of all manners have entered the city in hopes of winning her favor and heart.

The onslaught of men only made Rose feel like punching someone, preferably Joffery. The only time she was truly alone was when she was shredding the sack dummy, sword in her hand as she danced around and viciously massacred the stuffed soldier.

While she trained, the men who seemed to follow her every move retreated, watching from a distance. The deadly but beautiful woman who captured all hearts intimidated the men who wished to bed her, rightfully so.

Rose found herself retreating from the Red Keep, the whispers of her marriage and the talk of suitors surrounding the hall of Lords, eager to seek solitude in the training grounds once more. As Rose stepped in front of her dummy, the lustful stares of the men around her seemed to fade until all that remained was her deadly dance.

Rose stayed there for hours, until the sun had left the sky and her body ached with exhaustion and pain, but she still would not move. That is until Tyrion's calm voice spoke out amongst the silence of the lonesome night.

"You should not be here at this hour, Rose, though I doubt you were ever planning on leaving. Tell me, how is starving yourself turning out? As slow and painful as I'd imagine?" Tyrion asked her, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he admired the will full and strong baby sister he had.

"Since when do you care? Last I saw you, you could hardly look at me without glaring." Rose accused, not stopping her assault on the stuffed man. Twisting and slashing as her voice remained a steady beat, her words timed with her attacks as her assault turned deadlier.

"You are my baby sister. You loved me when our father ignored me. You read me stories and fed me food on days I couldn't leave my room because of the stares, even though you were younger then me. You are the strongest woman I've ever met. Do not accuse me of not caring for you." Tyrion spoke her steadily, noticing her swipes becoming more lethal. She swings the sword harshly and the pole that held the man splintered in two, making her grunt in frustration. Her grip on the sword loosening as she stares at the strewn hay that litters the ground.

"What if he hurts me? Men beat their wives all the time." Rose timidly asks, sinking to her knees before curling into a ball, making Tyrion move to hold Rose in his comforting arms as he brushed her tears away.

"No harm shall befall you, if I have to ensure that myself. I may not possess any deep love for my family, but for you I would fight any man. You are my baby sister." Tyrion told her firmly, ceasing her tears as her eyes turned to look at him.

"I've always adored you, little Rose. You trained with Jaime and danced with Cersei but you never forgot me. You would come into my chambers night after night, jumping next to me in bed with a book that you wished for me to read you. Even after I taught you how, you still showed. You never chose Jaime or Cersei or even father over me. You sent me letters during every trip you were away, me and only me. And every time I asked you told me it was because I was your big brother, and you would love and defend me when others laughed at my face. You are my best friend, Rose." Tyrion told her, hugging her tight as the surrounding world melted away.

Long after Rose passed out from exhaustion, Tyrion had her moved and tucked into bed. Smiling to himself and vowing revenge on his father for Rose's marriage that hurt her so.

'No one shall hurt my baby sister. No one.'

Rose had abandoned the training yard after a knight disrupted her mid swing and she almost beheaded him, the one place she had found solemn ruined by the one man's intentions. She wanted to visit Sansa, to talk to the Stark who visited her even when ordered to stop. Which is how Rose found herself walking to Sansa's chambers, before Cersei appeared.
