(Ariel, Rapunzel, Jasmine, Kida, and Belle's Dormitory)
Mulan's POV (3rd Person):
Mulan set down her suitcase and looked at the paper in her hand, then up at the number over the door.
"Room 216," she muttered. "This is it."
She raised her hand to knock, but the door flew open before she reached it. Caught off guard, Mulan stumbled briefly before regaining her balance and looking at the smiling girl standing in the doorway. She was a little shorter than Mulan, and had wide green eyes and way too much golden hair that stretched to the floor and out of sight.
"Hello, you must be Mulan!" she exclaimed, holding out her hand. "My name's Rapunzel."
Mulan carefully shook the offered hand, then bent to pick up her suitcase.
"Nice to meet you," she said, giving a smile back.
Rapunzel stepped back, and Mulan walked in. There was a row of six canopy beds against the wall with large picture windows in between against the far wall, a door that could only lead to a bathroom against the left wall, a row of closets against the right wall, and beside them, a large -
"Is that a fish tank?" Mulan asked, blinking.
"Well, yeah," a red-headed girl with a fork in hand said, sliding off the bed nearest the tank and extending her hand. "I can't have legs all the time. I'm Ariel."
"Mulan," Mulan said, shifting her suitcase so that she could shake the smaller girl's hand.
"Our new bunkmate?" a tall brunette asked, carefully bookmarking a thick novel before standing up.
Mulan nodded and shook her hand too.
"I'm Belle," she smiled. "Do you like reading?"
"Not really," Mulan shrugged. "I prefer combat or horse-back riding."
Before Belle could respond, a tan-skinned girl with long, swishing black hair stormed out of the bathroom, yelling, "Kida!"
A dark-skinned girl with white blonde hair and blue tattoos on her face leapt lightly off the top of the canopy of one of the beds.
"Yes, Jasmine?" she said in a falsely sweet tone.
Jasmine brandished a hairdryer at Kida.
"Watch this!" she yelled angrily, flicking the on switch.
The hairdryer made a feeble coughing noise and started glowing with blue designs of some sort.
"Have you been messing with your crystal again?!" Jasmine snapped, flicking it off.
"You know, that may be," Kida said slyly, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "But I guess we'll never know."
"Great," Jasmine snarled in disgust. "You, new girl, watch out for her."
She stomped back into the bathroom, slamming the door behind her, and the other girls burst out laughing.
Kida clapped Mulan on the shoulder, grinning. "Jasmine's a little spoiled," she snickered. "She's the one you should watch out for."
"Who blow dries their hair to go to bed?" Rapunzel added. "Come on, Mulan, your bed's over here."
(Aurora, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Snow White, and Elsa's Dormitory)
Merida's POV (3rd Person):
"This must be me room," Merida decided, staring up at the gold-plated number 217 above the door. "I wonder what me new roommates be like."
She flung open the door and stepped in, dragging her suitcase after her.
"Wingapo, you must be the new girl?" a dark skinned girl with slanted eyes asked cheerfully. "I'm Pocahontas."
"Winga-what?" Merida asked, blinking in confusion.
"Oh, what a pretty accent!" a short girl with an old-fashioned hair style squealed. "My name is Snow White."
"Nice to meet ye," Merida said, looking around interestedly. "I'm Merida."
A lithe girl in a blue ballerina costume swirled around the room. She demonstrated a graceful pirouette and extended her hand to Merida.
"I'm Cinderella," she smiled. "The girl sleeping over there is Aurora, but you can call her Rose. And that is Queen Elsa of Arendelle." She swept a graceful hand in the direction of a pretty blonde snoring softly on the bed by a door that must lead to a bathroom and a paler girl reading a magazine on her bed.
"I lost the crown, they can't prove anything!" the white-blonde called Elsa shouted. "And I told you not to call me that!"
Cinderella laughed and twirled away. "Sorry . . ."
"Your bed is closest to the bathroom door," Pocahontas smiled, gesturing to one of the six canopy beds.
"And make sure you knock before you go into the restroom," Snow White added as Merida lugged her suitcase to her bed and plunked down on the covers.
"What? Why?" she asked, pulling off her boots and chucking them unceremoniously into a corner.
"We share a bathroom with room 216, and it's easy to forget to lock one of the doors," Aurora mumbled, opening her eyes and yawning. "Plus, the snob over there likes to hog the bathroom in the mornings and evenings, and she has a pet tiger. Not someone you should walk in on."
