Earth, the daughter of Light and Darkness

The keeper of secrets and seeker of truth

Lady Earth was once a crud and unkind soul

To her, everyone else was nothing

She was the alpha and the omega

But Light knew better

She saw the glimmer of self-doubt in Lady Earth’s soul

And Darkness knew better

He saw a glint of greed deep in her heart

On the night of her death it is said that white lights engulfed her body

And armies of the dead carried off her lifeless form

They brought her to the top on the highest mountain

And offered her to Lady Light and Sir Darkness

They accepted her as their one and only daughter

She woke to the sound of waves crashing on her body

She knew she was the keeper and the seeker

And now she helps us see the true beauty of the world around us

She protects us from greed by hiding away all the world’s riches

And protects us from the unbearable truth with her all knowing eyes

But for those who will not listen to her warnings she has no mercy

The ground will quake with the sound of her voice

The seas will churn at her very command

Fear her for she can and will destroy the ones who disobey her

She is daughter of Light and Darkness

She is the giver and the taker of life and wife of Air
