Chapter 1:Meeting of some sort

Isabella's pov

I was walking to my son, Miles, room when I almost tripped over our dog, Alex. Alex is a golden Retriever. She's so adorable. Yes she.

I continued walking to Miles' room. "Mama." He made granny hands to me and I giggled. I yawned and picked up my beautiful son. "Hey baby boy!" I said kissing his forehead.

Miles dug his head in the crook of my neck as I stalked back to my room. Alex barked softly and clawed her way after us.

I sat Miles on my messy bed. "Mama will get your clothes." I said in 3rd person.

I grabbed Miles' clothes and undressed my son getting him in his day clothes. I smiled as he giggled when I tickled him. "Uncie..." Miles pouted. "Uncle Adam will be in sight in an hour." I giggled.

I grabbed my clothes and got into my bathroom. I quickly got dressed.

I wore,

A cut croptop that was a sweatshirt but it's now a croptop sweatshirt of Adam's butter sweatshirt pull over, a PINK bra that was black, no lace, and black Nike leggings.

I did my make up as Alex and Miles played together. I smiled as I looked at them in the mirror.

My babies...

I brushed my teeth, did my hair and grabbed Miles and Alex's leash. I can bring Alex. If people don't like leaving their pets alone Adam lets us bring them.

I got into the car with Alex in the back seat with Miles.

I buckled Miles and made sure Alex was safe too. My main concern and attention on my son.

I mean, being a single mom is a bad thing but also a good thing. The bad thing is, you have such limited money. Barely enough to pay child support but Adam and Alesa help me.

The good thing is, I get my dog and my son to myself and Adam.

I got into the driver's seat and buckled. I turned on the radio putting on 92.3.

On the Loose by Niall Horan came on and Miles and I sing to it. I giggled at his silliness in his car seat.

We soon arrived at the offices and I took Alex and Miles out. I gripped Alex's leash tight as I saw another dog. Alex hates other dogs.

I ran inside and slowed my pace. Loosening my grip on my Alex's leash. I walked up the stairs, my grip still firm on Miles and Alex's leash.

"Mornin Boss and brother." I laughed. "Morning deputy and sister." Adam chuckled in response.

I walked to my office and let Alex lay down on his blue pillow John got me. I let Miles Down in his little space and logged onto my computer and opened my monitors.

I looked at my window.

"Izzy!" Emily waved and opened the door. "Oh hello." I said in a weird voice. "Got-cho schedule here my gal." Emily said in a weirder voice and handed me the laminated paper. "Thank you good squire." And Emily left.

I looked at my schedule.

First up was a meeting at 12. Meaning I could record if I wanted to. But I didn't. I uploaded my video that I had prepared. I was a bit sick and my voice was barely working so I didn't record today. Just uploaded.

A few hours later Adam texted me.

I laughed and told Miles I'll be back in an hour and I had Bre watch him.

I walked into the meeting room and Adam begun.

"So today. I wanted to tell you guys, 2 new workers are coming in. I wanted to warn you, both are- Well one is shy. So I want you all to give them a warm welcoming like we did when Izzy was in the offices and when she announced she was bisexual and pregnant." Adam said.

Why'd he have to mention that?

I had my head down on my lap in embarrassment.

"Meeting dismissed." Adam said and we all went back to doing what we were doing.

I felt giddy inside. Ever since Tim came in 2015, we had people come and go. It was either because of lack of work, aka laziness, stubbornness and ignoring mine and Adam's orders.

Ever since we let someone go, Adam has been more picky with who to come in and work. Surprised that he chose 2 guys.

Welp. Imma just have to wait.
