Review
4 out of 5
This was a good kdrama 'drama'. If that makes sense...
There wasn't a lot of drama, the romance was short and sweet, nothing too overwhelming. It was overall just a drama that was a good watch, if you have the time or will to watch a lot of surgery and angry patients. The story was definitely extended, but it led up to an okay-ish conclusion. It was more of a bitter-sweet ending, in my opinion, you don't really get to see what happens in the end with the couple - but you get a sort of insight at how loyal Hyun is to Eunjae.
But, I do have to say that the drama with the second male lead is shortened by a lot. He tends to find out that he isn't the person for her and backs off. Which is great because he isn't one of those cringe-y kdrama boys that end up being mean to the girl for no reason.
Oh yeah, THIS DRAMA IS HEAVILY REVOLVED AROUND SURGERY AND MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. So, if you're afraid of needles, blood, organs, and anything dealing with accidents that lead to doctors sticking needles into people. You might get grossed out. There are numerous surgery scenes. (Which are all really incredibly realistic!!!)
