My Savior
Summers it was when her voice first echoed in my mind.
Silence, i lived in,
Silence, i played with,
Silence , i cried in,
Silence, i wanted me to be.
Death was the path i chose,
But she interfered.
Her eyes like the moon,
Words like the water,
Cold and icy,
Yet so warm and assuring.
"Who are you?" i ask.
"Your Journey Partner," said she.
When I opened my eyes,
I had a Comrade.
