Onyx's POV

"So uhh how long have you lived here?" I ask Percy.

"Well considering the fact that my parents moved here because of the houses being in the middle of a elementary, high, and college. Hmm I'd say half my life." he responds with as he nods his head.

"Same, except my parents moved here because there were too many dogs in my last neighborhood." I shrug as my ears fold over. Percy stands up and strokes in awe. I blush to the feeling of Percy's hand against my ear and purr quietly. Percy smiles and blushes.

"You wanna come in for dinner?" He asks me with a slight tint of red on his face. I nod and walk into his house slowly. He asks, "Do you need anything specific?" I shake my head in response. He walks away as I sneak upstairs and find his room.

His mom stands behind the door and closes it behind me. "Whatcha doing kitten?" She smirks and asks in a soothing voice.

"Eep!" I jump as a sudden reaction to the door slamming.

"Hehe, sorry for scaring you little guy, I didn't know it would cause you to jump so high." She smiles and giggles quietly.

"Y...you didn't scare me! I...It was self defense!" I yell in a defensive tone.

"Haha calm down kitten I'm not gonna hurt you." She says and smiles widely.

"What do you want from me?" I say as I turn my head looking away from Percy's Mom.

"Oh, I just want to know what you're in here for." She smirks and and presses her fingers together. I whisper something under my breath. "What was that, kitten?" She smiles knowing what I'm gonna say.

"A pair of his underwear..." I whisper as she throws a pair onto my face. "Hey get out for a second." she walks out of the room as I pull off my pants and underwear then I put Percy's pair then pants back on. I hide my pair of underwear in Percy's drawer with a note. I giggle and walk back downstairs as he yells for me.

I walk into the kitchen, "Yes?" I say in a calm but nervous voice.

"I...I hope you like it." he says as he pulls up a dish of salmon. I gasp and run towards him "how did you...?" I ask.

"Lucky guess?" He says them giggles. "Eat up." he sets the dish on the table and makes something else. I sit at the dish and start eating. "You like it?!" He yells questioning me. I respond with a nod for my mouth is full of fish. He pets my head and giggles.

"Thanks for the food but I should really get home." I say.

"Aww is soon?" He says sadly and stares at me blushing.

"I'm sorry but I have to be home by curfew." I put my hands behind my back and look down at my feet.

"Fine you can go then." He says as I walk out of the house. I look both ways before crossing the street. Percy walks up to his room and watches me cross. I keep walking towards my has as I walk up on the porch. He stares at me more before I walk into my house. I walk up into my room and stare at him from my window as he stares at me from his. I fall asleep and have a strange dream. I wake up the next morning and get dressed immediately as I run down to Percy's house. I knock on his door as he answers

"Wanna walk to school together?" I ask him.
