Percy's POV

"The question has been burdening me everyday since the question, it's been four days after he asked and all I can think of... is him." I think to myself as I lay in bed. "I want to say yes... but my friends will hate me, they'll know my secret and I don't want that to happen. I need more time to think about this." I fall asleep and wake up the next day on the floor. "Oww." I whine as I lay on the floor, I sit upwards and stretch. I push myself up and see my mom leaning against the door "Mom?" I say in a confused manner.

"Your friend's at the door wanting to walk to school with you." She tells me with a smirk on her face as she walks away

"My friend..." I repeat as the question runs back through my head. I get dressed into something else and grab my backpack. And walk downstairs seeing Onyx at the front as he smiles cutely at me. "Hey, Onyx."

"Hi Percy, ready for school?!" He loudly asks me seeming a bit excited.

"Yeah I think today is gonna be a good day." I say as I step out the door feeling a completely different energy. A couple minutes later I could feel his tail wrap around my wrist. We both start blushing and walk up to the front gate. I kiss his cheek and walk through the gate with him. He blushes brightly as his tail loosens around my wrist. "I think it's time." I tell him as he hugs me tightly.

"No I don't want you to leave." he says sadly.

"Hey it's ok little guy I'll see you 5th hour." I tell him as I stroke his ear and kiss his cheek. I can hear him purring as I walk off. First hour passes as I walk down the hallways. A couple of the jocks pull me into the bathroom and starts punching and kicking me as I lay on the floor bleeding as they all walk away. I can hear them whisper things as I walk to the nurses office. She bandages my wounds as I walk to third hour. Hours pass as I limp to fifth hour as I get a quick hug from Onyx.  "I'm alright kitten, seriously." I kiss his forehead.

"We've got to tell someone." he tells me.

"You don't even know what's going on" I tell him in a concerned sounding voice.

"It's kinda obvious what's going on." He tells me holding my hand with a tight grip. He walks back to his desk as I sit in mine. The hour ends as we both walk outside and towards my house. He again walks me up on my porch. I kiss his cheek again and walk away blushing and says nothing.  "Don't forget about my question!" He yells at me as look back with a bright blush on my face.

"Uhh yeah, sure thing." I respond with as I keep walking towards my house. I open the door with a widened smile on my face. "I've never had anyone like me before, I've always had crushes on people but him having a crush on me, this is so new to me."  Onyx stares at my house as he makes a heart shape with his hands, "He's so cute" I say to myself as I get in bed feeling very flustered after watching Onyx through the window. "I wonder what Onyx really thinks of me, I wonder what he's thinking right now about me. What a mystery, I guess I'll never know.."
