When Robert woke up it was already late at night and not only that he was thinking about damien again. He peeked out of his window to see if he was out but he was nowhere in sight. Robert decided to go out and walk anyway since there was no way he was getting back to sleep after sleeping for so long. robert grabbed his jacket and put it on as he walked outside , closing the door behind him and running one of his hands trough his hair.
Robert walked down th road and eventually made it to a dead end. He decided to just continue into the woods. He saw nothing wrong with it so why not?
He continued until a dark hooded figure holding something close to his face. He reached for his pocket knife when suddenly "you poor thing!" Oh thank god. It's just damien "well it doesn't look too bad. You should be fine with some rest." Robert got a closer look and found that he wasn't wearing a hood. It was just his hair.
"Uh...whacha hot there? I MEAN GOT THERE!" Damien turned to Robert looking slightly confused "I just found a bat who had a hurt wing. And... well.. That's pretty much it." Damien kissed the bat on the head and placed it under a nice dry surface incase it rained. It did look rather gloomy after all. " won't you get sick doing that?" Robert asked , concerned for Damien health. "I'm sure it'll be fine. And even if it's not doctor's exist do they not?"
"..oh yeah..." robert sighed and walked to Damien and held out is hand as Damien started to get up."need help?" Robert asked with a smile.
Damien happily took Roberts hand and stood up. Robert continued to hold Damien hand after he got up."So um... wanna walk with me..?" Robert said as he blushed a little."that would be nice." Damien replied.
Damien and Robert both walked together with their hands locked. When quick and suddenly it started to rain. HARD. "God dammit!" Robert said under his breath. " I suppose we should go back home now." Damien said looking up at the sky , shielding his eyes from the rain with his hand. "Yeah. Probably..."Robert said feeling a bit bummed out that they didn't get to spend more time with each other. Damien and Robert ran back and when they got back to the cul-de-sac Robert took Damien to his door like a gentleman. At least he thought he was until he looked back from Damiens porch and saw him at least two yards away and realized that he had just run away from him. When Damien got to the porch he started to talk but was cut off by Robert " Damien I'm so so so sorry! I didn't realized that i... i just-" Damien put his finger up to Roberts lips. "Don't worry about it.. i was in less of a hurry to get out of the rain anyways."Damien calmed Robert down to the best of his abilities .
They both stood there in silence for a couple minutes until Robert broke the silence. "I should probably get goi-" Robert was interrupted by a loud crack of thunder that left him speechless." You should stay here til it stops raining. If you want to of course. " Damien said as he opened the door and smiled at Robert. "That'd be nice.."Robert replied following Damien into his home and closing the door for him.
