I sat on the couch reading my book while Kara was on her laptop. We both had our phones by our sides on full volume. I could barely concentrate reading. All I kept thinking was 'When was he going to call? Is he even going to call? Does he even want to see me again?' I kept glancing at my phone every ten seconds.

Kara got up and went to the kitchen to get food. I looked at my phone. Nothing.

I heard Kara groan and I looked up at her. "What's wrong?" I asked.

"We have no more food." Kara responded.

"Oh, that sucks." I glanced at my phone. Kara noticed my eyes look toward my phone.

"That's it! We are going phone shopping!" Kara yelled.

"You can go. I'm going to stay here, and..."

"No! You are not siting here alone staring at your phone!"

"You can join me you know." I smirked.

"You really want to miss out on an epic food shopping trip?'

"Never, I just don't want to miss any calls."

"Jordan, cell phones are portable. People have cell phones for when they leave their homes. Now come with me. I'm not letting you sulk all day." Kara said as she pointed at me.

"But-"

"No butts! Go get dressed! You have 15 minutes before I come and carry you out of your room!" Kara commanded.

I knew that there was no arguing with Kara. She would literally break my door down and carry me to the grocery store in my underwear.

I got up and shuffled into my room. I called through my door, "Kara Showers! What's the fore-cast?"

Kara replied, "55 and I'm wearing sweats because we're going food shopping."

"OK! Thanks!"

I opened my wardrobe and pulled out my gray sweatpants and and navy hockey sweatshirt. I put on my moccasins. My super comfy outfit that when I come home I can go right to bed. I put my hair up in a bun and put on minimal make up.

I came out of my room and saw Kara in basically the same outfit just different colors.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yup." I said popping on the 'p'.

I checked and made sure my phone was fully charged. Thank the Lord it is. I put it in my bag and followed Kara out of our suite.

Kara and I left the hotel and walked around looking for a big grocery store.

We asked the locals and they us a store that has everything we need. We walked to the store and got there. Kara and I took a shopping cart and looked for everything on the list.

"The mac&cheese might be in this aisle."  I said.

Kara and I walked towards the aisle when something caught my eye.

"CHEETOS!" I screamed and I yanked Kara and the shopping cart back.

Kara stopped and watched me run towards the junk food. I almost ran over an old lady but I ran around her just in time. I swear to God she gave me the finger. Not a very sweet old lady.

I grabbed the Cheetos and hugged them. I thought I was never having them again in the next 2 months.

Kara laughed at me, untill she did the same thing with chips. I wasn't mean to her like she was to me.

I grabbed the shopping cart and walked to the next aisle on our list. We got ice cream, water, junk food, mac&cheese, beefaroni, Rice-A-Roni, chicken, fries, and juice. Basically everything you need to survive. We also picked up some house supplies that we didn't have that much of. We were all ready to go until we got to the magazine aisle.
