My brother banged on the door.
"Drake, wake up!" He yelled.
"I've been awake," I said from the edge of my bed, texting my friend, Caitlin.
"Well get ready!" he said as he left my door.
I put my phone down and went to my closet. I slipped on my bracelets and went through my clothes. I grabbed my black ACDC shirt and slipped it on. I grabbed my black shorts and put them on too.
I hated shorts. Then you could see my legs. I can't wear pants though because this Florida weather is a hot Hell. I'd die from a heat stroke if I wore my black pants. I connected my Bluetooth speaker to my phone and played Suicide Silence while I got ready.
My morning schedule of getting ready consisted of fixing my hair, eating, washing my face, brushing my teeth, putting fragrance on my body, and of the course the dress code of my school, tucking in my shirt, wearing a belt, and worst of all, no piercings. Ugh I hated it.
I turned off my Bluetooth speaker and put my phone in my pocket as I left my room. My brother looked at me like I was an alien.
"You look different from the last time I saw you little brother," he said as he cracked a smile. "You've been locked up in your room since Friday."
"Shut up faggot. Let's just go." I muttered as I put on my black converses and went outside. I grabbed the door handle to my brother's car and got in.
He and my other brother got in also and turned on the car, while also blaring Falling In Reverse. It took us 5 minutes to get to the school and I got out.
The place where the kids from my grade sat was outside on sidewalks with one empty sidewalk splitting boys and girls. So when you walked down the one sidewalk, everyone could see you.
I started to walk down the sidewalk and I held my breath, waiting for kids to start pointing at me and laugh. Suddenly, my eyes darted to one specific person....her.
She was staring at me as I was walking to my sidewalk. I wanted to cry but then everyone would start laughing at me. So I held it in as I walked by. I went over and sat on the nerd sidewalk with my friends.
"Hey Drake," Nathan muttered. A sensation raged in my stomach. I wanted to rip his head off. But I kept it in.
"Hey," I weakly muttered as I sat next to him.
"I'm sorry about last night," he said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Did you see her?" He muttered.
Tears formed in my eyes as I weakly muttered, "Yeah.."
"It's okay man. Just don't think about her."
"Trust me. I've been trying to do that all weekend."
The bell rung and everyone got up to go to class. Great, here we go.
