Jessie just woke up after her mother ran out of the house, driving off to some unknown land forever. Jessie was only five at the time and was not even able to tie her shoe, let alone take care of herself! Her mother was her only relative left. So she was taken into the neighbors house and was adopted by Christy Fields. She had a nice, basic life. Husband, a six year old son with good grades and a good arm for baseball, and a beautifully decorated home.
