The non so horrible yet fun competition

I remember a several months ago I enter a Geography and earth science competition.
Well I don't really know about this until the head teacher comes and inform us about this.

Me and my friends got excited so we enter our name, there are six people in my classroom who enter this competition 3 boys and 3 girls.

The boys are not so close to me but I consider them as friends, normal casual friends like classmates.

As we sign our name in the teacher there give us one copy of the questions and we were so shocked that our mouth hanging. 450 questions and we only answer three in each stages. Jesus Christ, that's a lot.

The worst part was not over yet. One of my friends asked the teacher when was the competitive date and he told us that on Saturday.

My friend was like "Saturday!!, phz it's not like Saturday this week, right guy."

And we all looked at the teacher clearly asking him "right?" Which he responded back with a simple yes.

Nooooooooooo the boys shouted out as they had their knees on the floors. Some teachers and students are watching us. "Oh come on don't be so dramatic, you got at least *count his finger* 4 days less to spare so 450 questions won't be that hard to handle" the teacher said to us.

He quickly push us out the office "don't forget to bring the original copy back when you finish printed it ok byeee!!!" He said before closing the office door with a loud bang!!

Well that's not a good help. Some teacher he is. We all gether up and started moving our butt back to the classroom.

The rule of the competition is simple you wait till your name called out one piece of paper for the small box where there are name of the question written in it, you got 30 second to answer the question ( I forget if it 60 or 30 but I have a feeling that 30 is more right). Answer all three correct you can go to the nexts stage which on the same day in the afternoon.

Lucky for us this year we only answer two questions. My friend print us the copy of the questions and handed all the copy.

Well for me I didn't study at all since I'm lazy and not to mention some of these questions are so ridiculous. They even ask the questions of how many stairs there are on the mountains.

There are questions about flats, planets, air, soil, different land , tourists sites, people, country side, the capital cities, famous landmarks and more.....

I did study but I went looking in random questions skip some, study some, and some just read it two or three times.

On the competition day, 6 of us make our way to the competition rooms held for students from grade 7th to 9th and another room for the senior grades.

I have been waiting for my name to call out and one of the boy went first. About a several minutes he came back. We all eager to know and unfortunately he didn't pass. Though he still staying there waiting for all of us to finish.

We making stupid jokes about this and that to cheer him up. And we also find out one secret from the new kid that  he has a girlfriend and broke up.

Seriously he only study here for three months and already had a girlfriend, whao well that something new. So we spend minutes teasing him and his girlfriend.

The next was the other new kid who study this year and he hoped up from his seat toward the teacher table and answer the questions.

When he come back we all getter around him asking questions. He come back with a sad expression only to be fooled by him. He pass!!

We all clapped for the new kid only to gained attention from the other students. Embarrassingly we sat back down and giggled like crazy.

The new kid who we just teasing about having a girlfriend walked to the table he come back with a happy expression and it was all the clue that we need.

My best friend pick herself up next. We waited for her to come back and she did. When sat down arms crossing each other. Then she put her hands to cover her face and whining "I can't believe I forget Thailand, water roads and the teacher only asked me one question too."

Well that depressing that am losing one of my best friend but I have another one and she is in another classroom.

We waited and waited, and I started to sweated a lots. I'm getting worried cuz no one call out my name. I started to get nervous and forget everything in my mind.

One after one are leaving. Ok if it were you, you will be scared to hell too. Though I appreciate my friends for waiting for me but it not helping when they keep talking about cars and houses.

Until there are no one left in the room accept me and my friends who's already finished. I make my fu*king way to the table. I pick two pieces of paper one is question 120. Which was easy.

What year does people believe the the planet earth is round?

The nexts question is which country first land on the moon date and the name?

I know this is weird because I guess it was my luck and I have to admitted some questions are about history even though it say geography and earth science.

The teacher told me that Im pass. I sat there looking at her strangely questioning back "Really?"
"Yes" I still sit there "so that mean I'm really pass?" Clearly cannot believe that I didn't study anything. She answer back one more time"Yes you are pass."

"Ok, idiot she say you pass quick sitting there like a statue and go." My best friend shouted at me snapping me back my face fill with joy.

Not the happiness of passing but the happiness of not gonna-study in the afternoon. Yay yay yay, I don't need to study math!!!. Oh how I hate math so back. Even I know the right formula of the equation I still get it wrong.

We waited for my other best friend in the next classroom when she finally out we were almost fell asleep. And she pass.

So far 2 people have fail and the other 4 still in. We bet goodbye to each others.

In the afternoon, I make my way to the same classroom I had been before this morning, looking around I saw my three friends waving at me.

We chit chat a little about this and that. We even talk about one of our classmate mom ( ok, I'm really sorry for him) she so beautiful, people think she didn't married yet.

The new kid make his way once again to the table. Coming back with a sad expression one more time and this time we didn't feel like it was a joke and he was fail. We cheer him up by talking about some games and stuff that are not allowed to talk in the classroom.

The other new kid come back after his name called out. And back in with a happy face, pass again isn't he.

My turn and i didn't yet lucky anymore cuz I'm fail and my best friend turn, she pass!

Two more lose and two pass.

Well and am being  me so I guess I'll skip class today since I already tell the office that I'm not gonna study for a day, thank god no math.

I hate math so much so me and my three friends when outside the school ( the reason was that no school you can go home) and we both have some meatball and smoothies with chicken wings and rice.

We have a sneaky idea, we waited till the bell ring and when our classmates walking out we started eating as we pretended to tell words like poor things or this is so delicious and their face are priceless they looked like they want to kill us.

Well we spend two more hours watching horror movie.

I really enjoyed that day and I'll always remember it.
