After school was over and night had began to fall, Blake made his way over to the abandoned laboratory  around  8 o'clock. Even after many a argument about it, Rachael and Jayden 'convinced' Blake that it would be too dangerous to go there alone.

"You know its only gonna be a quick in and out right guys?" Blake told them as they drove along the road in Blake's 2003 Honda Civic "We're still coming with you Blake, I don't care if you were going into a haunted house for this stupid dare. I still think that there's gonna be trouble." Rachael retorted. They arrived at the laboratory about a few minutes later. Blake and his friends got out of his car and began to search the area for a way into the laboratory. They walked up to the main door but it was locked. "Figures" Rachael said. "We should look for another way in." It took them about a good 5 minutes until Jayden pointed out an open window on the 2nd floor. Jayden opened his back pack and pulled out a rope and grapple hook and tossed it through the window, then pulled it until it was tight enough to climb on. "I was beginning to wonder what you had in that bag Jayden." Blake said impressed with Jayden's thinking "Well, there you go Blake. One entrance made to the laboratory. Since your the most athletic out of all of us, you should climb the rope and find a way to open that main door." Jayden instructed him. "Alright, well time to get climbing." Blake said and gripped the rope and began to climb this way up. once he was inside he poked his head back outside and waved down to Jayden and Rachael. "There's a lot of debris up here, it might take me a while to find some door controls. Stay by the main door since I won't be able to tell you when I open it." He called down to them. Both of them nodded and made their way back to the main door. Blake then looked back in the laboratory and turned on his flashlight, "Alright let's do this." Blake told himself.

The laboratory was old and run down as Blake searched around for the door controls. "This place was abandoned about 8 months ago. Now looking at the place I starting to wonder why, this place is a complete mess." He said as he moved past stacks of books and tipped over shelving units. Blake shined his flash light around making sure he didn't run into anything. The laboratory was pitch black so the flash light was his only source to be able to see where he was going. Once Blake made it to the stairway he shined his flashlight at the ceiling where it disturbed some bats that were napping. "Argh!" Blake said as he ducked as the bats screeched and flew over his head and into the other room. "Whew, that was close. I better be more careful when I use this flashlight." Blake told himself with a slight laugh of what just happened. After walking down the set of stairs Blake finally made it to the security room and the door controls. "Here we are, now then which one is the front door control?" Blake wondered as he tried the different door opening buttons. It took him a while but eventually Blake had gotten the door open for them. "Yes now that takes care of that, now I just need to- UMPH!" Blake was cut off as someone had come behind him and had put a a cloth over his mouth. Blake struggled to get free bit he was losing consciousness fast, and before he knew it he was out like a light.

Blake woke up about an hour later and found himself on a stretcher beginning looked down by 2 figures. One of the figures was holding a syringe with a strange green liquid in it. "W-whats going on?" Blake said trying to struggle to get free but he was strapped down on the stretcher by metal straps. Both of the figures stayed silent, but the one with the syringe began to move close to Blake. "No, NO STOP ARGH!" Blake was stabbed harshly by the syringe and the they pushed the green liquid into Blake's body. Blake screamed in pain as the wound burned as the liquid entered his body. Once they were finished, the figures walked out of the room they were in and a couple of moments later the straps that were holding him down released him. Blake jumped off the stretcher hold his chest cursing under his breath. "What did they do to me?" Blake said making his way out of the room he was in and up the stairs. Just then he heard screaming coming from another room. "Rachael, Jayden!" Blake said and ran toward the source of the screaming. He made it to the clearing where he saw Rachael hiding behind Jayden as he was trying to fend off a huge python that was attacking them. Beside its size, the python had something others didn't, arms and hands, and it was trying to grab at them hissing madly. Blake had to do something before his friends became snake food. "Hey you over grown reptile, leave them alone!" Blake said tossing a stone at the back of its head. He knew he shouldn't have done that since the python then turned around anger in its eyes and it attack Blake by smacking him with his tail and flung him against the wall. Blake let out a yell of pain once he collided with the wall and fell onto the ground. He looked up at his friends rage and fear both rising in his body. "I have to help them, but what can I do?!" Blake thought. Just then something gave inside Blake's body and it began to feel unbelievable pain all over himself. "W-whats happening to me?!" He screamed as he felt his body beginning to tear himself apart.

Blake's whole body had turned into a huge werewolf and was howling madly as the transformation finally stopped. The python looked at him again now seeing him as an animal. Blake roared and charged at the python and attacked it with his now powerful claws, slashing at any part of its flesh it could reach. The python hissed angrily as it grabbed Blake's body an bit him. Blake howled in pain feeling the python sink its fangs into his shoulder. So then Blake decided to bite the python back, and so he did right on the pythons throat. The python let out a pained his and began to fail around trying to get Blake to let go but it only made Blake bite down harder. Blake could feel the blood from the pythons neck run into his mouth but he didn't care. The one thing on his mind right now was killing the python. After a while the python went limp its mouth hanging open not mouthing at all. Blake dropped the python then raised his head in the air again and let out a howl of triumph. He then turned to looked at Jayden and Rachael, blood dripping off of his mouth. They were both terrified for what they just witnessed until Jayden spoke, "Blake is that you?" Blake didn't know how to talk, but before he could even say anything his body began to hurt again and he fell face first onto the ground.

Just then a woman walked into the room as if nothing had happened and walked over to Blake a placed a syringe with a red liquid in it into Blakes body. With in a few seconds Blake was back to his old self. He turned his head to look at the woman that helped him. "W-what did you do to me?" He asked her, he tried to stand but his body felt heavy and he couldn't move. "Don't try to move" She told him. "That's a heavy tranquilizer that I had put in you, it will help when you use the Anima in your system." "That doesn't a-answer my question" Blake said looking at her. "We just awoke you potential, that's all and its a great one at that. We gave you the tranquilizer since the more you use the Anima the more it damages you." She told him with a sly smile. He grunted looking up at her. His awakening, what was she talking about? Blake had no idea, but he had a feeling that his life wasn't going to be the same anymore.
