I shifted my gaze down to the floor and adjusted the watch that was sitting heavily on my arm. It was three in the afternoon and I was reporting to my work, where I organized the displays for clothes. Only two more hours until I went to Lauren's house. My boss as usual told me I didn't know what I was doing but ended up liking what I organized in the end. After I was done I quickly scurried home to pick up my bag and then drove to Lauren's. The house to the left of hers used to be where the creepy old women lived. Now I saw a minivan and a moving truck in the driveway instead. I looked to the porch of the house only to make eye contact with the Luke I knew would be there. His eyes widened, curiosity sparking in them. Quickly he walked towards me, pushing up his glasses to meet his magnificent blue eyes. Wait, magnificent?

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Lessa! What are you doing here? Do you live here?"

The happiness in his voice when he asked the last question surprised me and I felt heat moving to my cheeks. What was happening to me? I only met him yesterday.

"Oh no I don't live here! This is my best friend Lauren's house", I smiled.

As I said that Lauren came running out of her house and yelled my name happily. I started to laugh at how silly she was and Luke smiled biting down on his lip ring that I didn't notice before. More heat rose to my cheeks and Lauren let out a whistle. "I guess we don't need any introductions here!", she chuckled, raising an eyebrow. Luke's face started to turn red and I giggled. Lauren took my hand and started walking up her driveway as I waved shyly at Luke.

Dragging me upstairs, Lauren dropped my bag off in her room and quickly walked towards her window gesturing for me to come to it. I walked to the window only to see that the one across from hers that used to be broken was now replaced and the room was filled with boxes. "Luke", was all she said and I gaped at her. She smiled nodding her head knowingly. I sighed, "I'm gonna need to come here more often now". "I know" she replied smirking, "See Lessa I knew you'd find someone." I shook my head and she pinched me teasingly.

"Okay time to watch a movie and spy on cute boy."
