on keeping a façade
》》》
Millions of feelings filled to the brim
The glass will overflow, break— shatter;
Yet no one knows how they still keep it all in
Water never seems to fall free from their containerA small droplet, that's the furthest it has came
From the one single crack that has formed over time
Yet the glass is shaking, there is no earthquake
The water swirls into little tornadoesInside its glistening form
The glass is foggy, transparent no more
No one can wipe through the effect of evaporation
It never permits to be truly seenAn illusion it has been showing all along
The fog makes it seem full, but it is truly empty
Inside it wants to break— shatter;
Still, the water never overflows
