Gliding into my room, gazing at the bare walls, I feeling sorrow come over me. I heard my dad's gravelly voice call my name, and I quickly took one last look as I ran down the stairs and quickly out the doorway. Right as I was getting in the car I looked back at my house. I took one last breath and closed the door, my mom and dad sat in the front. My mother had short, bright blonde natural hair, her eyes were a dark olive green. My father was a very tall man, with his jet black hair slicked back. His skin was pale and his eyes were hazel. My family said I looked like my father. I had pale skin and jet black hair as well. My eyes were a very dark green.

I got in the car while hearing my parents blabber about the new house, I got my headphones and put them in my ears. I looked at my phone and saw a boy with blonde hair and green eyes, I smiled in my head remembering the time my parents took the picture. The boy was sitting on a green chair with wooden legs, then there was me standing and putting a falu red color of blush on his cheeks. My phone turned off reminding me what I was doing.

I opened my music app and played the first song I could find. Listening to the wonderful piece of music I turned my head glancing out the window I could see fields of grass. Living in Austin, Texas and then moving to a small place in California was a huge change. My dad got a new job at this new company. My parents were excited, but as for me, I never had a smile on my face. My parents abused the happiness that I used to have as a younger child. I guess when your brother passes away, they are meant to act like this.

I'm now 16 and I don't have very many friends, or so I thought. I went to this private school called Trinity Valley School. How I hated every second there, you could say I was popular. I was very intelligent. but when I would get nervous I would say something stupid just to get out of the situation. I was quiet person. I never had much to say.. I grew up to be very shy, my parents told me a lot of things while I was growing up. I was always expected to be a lawyer or some kind of high paying job. I never wanted that.

Looking out the window I could see that we were almost at the airport. I didn't want to leave, of course, my parents didn't know that. They didn't know anything about me, yet I lived with them all my life. I was good at art, ever since I was little always drawing. I've gotten better since then. When I was younger my parents agreed, even saying I could be an amazing artist in the future that was a lie.

Even thinking about this I quickly closed my eyes trying to forget. I kept them closed trying to not remember this moment. Last time here, last time breathing this air, I simply took a long inhale of air holding my tears. Feeling the headphones yanked out of my ears I opened my eyes. My parents looking furious at me. Then rolled their eyes and my mother whispered, "Your brother would have never acted like this." Acting like I didn't hear a word.

My father stopped the car. We stopped in front of the airport. I grabbed my small bag and opened the door. I stared at the people around. There were people staring at me as well. I looked down at my dad as he handed the keys to a man in a suit. My father grabbed my mom's hand and told me to follow. I quickly ran behind them, as we walked in. Looking around the airport it was huge. I walked up the stairs as my parents guided. I heard my father mumbling to my mom. I really couldn't understand the words. I didn't want to.

Finally, we were on the plane. I sat close to the window. My mom was in the middle and my father at the other end. My mom got anxious as the airplane was starting. Hearing it amazed me. I've been on planes most of my life visiting family. Looking out the small oval window I saw the plane moving. My mother quickly clutched my hand holding it tight. She made me feel as nervous as her. I put my other hand on top of hers. She looked at me, her face didn't have a color other than her dark brown eyeshadow. I quickly smiled and looked at the window. We were going up in the air, feeling some little bumps, my stomach would have a quick ache and soon after go away.
