After a long day of exploring around Disneyland, they decided to call it a day. They went on a few more rides, including the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, which Sean loved, a few water rides, and a couple more scary rides. Flopping down on the couch, Sean let out a laugh.

"That was probably the best day of my life!" He said with a huge smile on his face.

"Yeah, me too!" Mark said. "I'm glad you had a lot of fun."

Sean looked up at him, that thought still nagging at him. "Hey..Mark..can I..can I tell you something?"

He nodded. "Of course, man. Anything."

His face flared up again, his palms beginning to sweat. "I uhh..I forgot...sorry.."

Mark gave him a toothy grin. "It's okay. It'll come up later."

Sean managed to say "yeah" before standing up, heading to their room. Dammit, he froze again! He wanted to say it, but his mind thought otherwise. One day, he will say it, no matter what it takes. He wants to tell him, he wants to desperately, but he always locks up, his words stuck in his throat.

"I like you, Mark.." Sean said quietly. "I really, really do like you.."

"You like what now?" Mark asked, stepping into the room.

Whirling around, Sean's eyes were big. "Uh..nothing. I just like being here for a change." He lied.

His friend chuckled. "I think it's nice, too."

Kicking off his shoes, he got in the bed. "I'm gonna get some sleep. I don't know about you, considering you like to stay awake all night." He teased.

Swallowing the lump in his throat, he also took off his shoes and hat. "I'm pretty tired so I think I'll get some sleep, too."

Slowly covering himself up, he tried to keep a comfortable distance between them, not wanting to be awkward. Rolling onto his side, he faced away from him, his heart slamming in his chest.

"Goodnight, Sean." Mark said, his voice vibrating the bed.

"Goodnight." He said, his voice a little squeaky.

Not too much later, he fell asleep.

The next morning, Sean woke up after having that same dream again: him telling Mark he has feelings for him, to when Mark kissed him gently on the lips before stabbing him in the stomach, not noticing what he did.

Rolling over, he noticed Mark was awake already, walking back into the room. "Morning." He said. "Got word that someone is taking this room relatively soon, so we should leave pretty soon."

Nodding, he got out of bed, stretching his arms, fixing his bedhead hair. "You...you sleep okay?"

"I did." Mark said, glancing at him. "You?"

Sean casually lifted a shoulder. "Like a little baby."

Smirking, Mark continued getting his stuff together when something on the TV caught his attention.

"In other news, the Disney park will be closed until further notice due to what could be a murder and a robbery." The news anchor said. "Security cameras around the area caught footage of a man slicing the victims throat before stealing their money yesterday afternoon. They did not get a clear picture of a face, but the FBI and the police will continue to investigate."

Sean shivered. "Yikes...that was when we were there..."

Mark zipped up his backpack a little fiercely. "Yeah..that's too bad."

"I hope they find whoever did this.."

"Mmhm." He said, making sure he had everything as Sean changed into some different clothes before packing up his stuff.

Mark glanced at the TV in anger, lucky that they didn't get a shot of his face. Shutting it off, he took a deep breath before heading into the living room, waiting for Sean to be ready.

Taking out the knife, he twirled it around in his hands, making sure he wasn't nearby. He kept thinking about the different scenarios if they did catch him...and he didn't want to go back again, knowing he'd be there for life.

Hearing him closing the door, he quickly put it away just as he came into view.

"Ready to go?" Mark asked as he stood up from the couch.

Sean gave a small nod. "Yeah."

"Let's go back home, then."

Heading out the door, Sean still had those words replaying in his head from last night.

I like you, Mark.

I really, really do like you..
