We where all talking and walking around in the gym. But then coach blew his whistle.

"5 laps around the school! NOW!" he screamed at us. We all quickly made our way outside and started to run. I was a pretty fast runner so I was in front of most people.

I was about to turn the corner, but then Ryan caught up with me.

"How did you learn to run so fast?" he asked. Wow, no one ever caught up with me when running. I was usually in the front.

"Im always this fast... I have an older brother you know..." I said. I'm not even breaking a sweat yet and im on my second lap.

"Nice. I ran a lot in Australia, we didn't have anything special there." He said. We were running at the same pace at this time and everyone was slowly disappearing behind us.

"Well that had too been nice..." I said. We went around the corner, going behind the school now.

"Yeah, I guess. I think it's weird how we have the same schedule." He said.

"Well since we only have four classes, it doesn't really surprise me. I just want to go home after this, go home and sleep. Then party it up!" I said. We rounded the corner and was about to be at the front of the school.

He laughed. "Yeah... But like I said, I am not the partying type. So be very surprised if I do come." He said. My mood fell a little bit; I really wanted him to come. Plus he said that his sister was going to be at the house alone.

A lock of my hair came out of my clip. I decided to just take the clip out, and let it be down.

It felt good to let my hair down, and the clip wasn't digging in the back of my head. I'll put it back up when we go inside.

"Oh... Well you said you wouldn't be home tonight." I said.

"Yeah I know, but after thinking about it, im not leaving her home alone to suck face with that guy." He said. I laughed a little bit.

"Yeah... I wouldn't blame you." I sighed. We were on our fourth lap in no time. Now I was starting to sweat. I regret taking my hair down now.

"I like your hair down, its beautiful like that." He commented.

"Thanks, but im about to put it back up." I sighed. We came up to the entrance of the gym and walked inside.

The air conditioner felt so good. We walked inside panting. Coach looked impressed.

"Not even 7 minutes guys. Have you thought about joining cross country or track?" he asked.

"No sir..." I said, trying to catch my breath. He looked at Ryan.

"No sir..." he said. He put his hands on his knees, trying to breathe.

"Well you should. You could win it for this school. We need a win for once..." Coach mumbled the last part under his breath.

"Awesome..." We both sighed.

"Since you both finished running in less then 8 minutes, you get the period off. Your done for the day." He said.

"Thanks Coach..." we said. I went the girl's locker room and got changed. I walked out the back way and waited in the hallway for Ryan. I was done with school for the day. I leaned up against the wall watching some people come in.

They looked so sweaty and hot it grossed me out...

"So what are we going to do now?" Ryan asked coming up behind me.

I jumped a little bit because I didn't expect him....

"I don't know, I guess hit up the mall." I sighed. Then it hit me.

"Wait we can't, I came with my brother today..." I said. That got me a little bit mad... stupid Alex.

"Oh well that's ok, we can take my car and be back by 3. I have to pick up Kimmy anyways." He said walking down the hall.

"Oh ok thanks." I said, walking with him. We went to the office first to tell the secretary we have the rest of the day off. She didn't seem to care...

We walked through the glass doors and into the parking lot.

"So your older brother is Alex? He's a senior right? What college is he going to?" Ryan asked. He got out his keys and I heard a beep come from a car.

"Yeah he's 'Alexander The Great'" I said using sarcasm. "I don't know what college he's going to, or even if he has sent stuff to them..." I said sighing.

"Oh..." he sighed.

He led me to his car... which was a very nice one at that. It was a white Mercedes...the car that I really wanted.

"I wanted this kind of car for my 16 birthday, but I never got it..." I said. We both quickly got in and left the school.
