"Hey look who's up!" You opened your eyes in the same room you were in before. The light that was previously above your head had now been removed, leaving the room pitch black, making you more uncomfortable by the second.
"Look, whatever this is, just tell me what you want and I'll see what I can do."
"Hunny, Sweetie is that you?" You could recognise that voice anywhere, and for a minute you felt like a kid again.
"Mom?"
"I'm here sweetie." Her voice was so smooth, so calming, so safe. That is until you realised how dangerous she had been, so you decided to play along and see what this thing wants because it definitely was not your mother.
"Where are you mom?" A figure came closer and all you could see of it was a silhouette, and suddenly your mother was there, stood in the dress that was exactly the same as your mother's the day she died. Sun-like-yellow, dotted with pink roses and daisies. Tight around the torso, showing her thin figure, and nice and poofy around the skirt which reached just above her ankles. Her small feet that just fit her yellow flats. The stereotypical 50's mom look. She loved the 50's fashion, always tried to dress you in the same way, which of course you refused to do.You hated that she was dead, but in this case, thank god she is. If you can remember that she's gone then you know that no one can get to you.
"So you don't like the 'mom' thing huh? Too many stops down memory lane or what?" She cackled.
"My-my-my, Mommy, you've certainly changed. If I wasn't tied up I probably would have snapped your neck by now" if you stay calm then she won't sense any fear, you refuse to let her win this.
"Fine." She huffed. "I'll go be someone else, be right back darling." It winked.
Meanwhile...
"Where is she?" Cas demanded.
"DUDE PLEASE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE ON ABOUT!" It wailed.
Castiel was fed up with these demons, they never listened and they never talked, they just insulted. At this point Cas couldn't take it any longer. He pulled out his angle blade and walked up to the demon."I've tried everything," Castiel said calmly. "And nothing I've tried has worked. Not a single thing, person or whatever has told me where she could be. I may never find her again, or I might. Either way, I know one thing is for sure." He looked at the man coldly, the demon never pictured an angel being so cold and angry before. And he had to admit that it freaked him out a lot.
"Yeah, and what's that?" The demon questioned mockingly, earning only a humoured smile from the angel and a slight sympathetic chuckle.
"You're gonna wish you'd never asked." And slowly but shortly, the angel blade had pierced through the demons vessel, scratching and stabbing every inch of him. Castiel has never been this angry before, but the Winchester's whining and moping around was probably part of it.
Nobody would try to make the effort to look for her, or at least that's what Castiel thought when he left the bunker.
And out of the blue, the door slammed open and in fell Sam being pushed by Dean. The got up and wiped themselves clean then walked over to their lost friend.
"Cas, buddy. You ok?" Dean raised his hands in innocence. They weren't sure how much control he had over himself, so they slowly made their way toward him. Castiel refused to turn around and look at them. "Cas, please. Don't do this to yourself. We'll find Y/N a lot faster if we stay strong and work together. Come on buddy?" Dean reached for the blade in Cas' hand and pulled it from his right grip.
"Can I go now?!" Castiel knew he could go, they wouldn't make a huge effort to stop him, but he wanted to hear if they had anything else to say.
"Cas, please just listen to me,"
"Why Dean," His angered voice sounding sharper than a new blade. "You haven't tried to find her, she's gone and neither of you are doing anything about that!" He yelled.
Dean sighed and turned to look at his brother, then back to Castiel.
"Look, there's only so much we can do pal.""You wouldn't have said that had it been Sam that had gone missing!" His angelic blue eyes glistened as tears rolled down his face. He took another look at Dean and fell apart.
"Hey!" Dean whisper-yelled as his best friend collapsed to the floor, a complete mess. There wasn't much he could do, Dean could handle Cas' human form but this was different. Cas was still an angel, still had his grace and yet he was feeling all this emotion.
"It's gonna be ok," he said gently, rubbing the angels back in circles. "Everything's gonna be alright."
